This one bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 3 people thanks to a separate bedroom with double bed and a single sofa bed in the living area.
The apartment has one bathroom with shower, and a kitchen equipped with cutlery, crockery and pots for those times when you prefer to prepare something to eat in the apartment.
- The apartment is accessed on the 3rd floor of the building through a staircase (there is no lift in the property).
- A copy of ID will be required upon arrival.
- Security deposit of £200 is required upon arrival. Alternatively, guests can sign a Pre-authorisation form. Deposits will be returned on the day of check-out providing the apartment is not damaged.

This flat is located in a very quiet residential street, just a stone's throw away from Hyde Park, which can be reached in literally 3 minutes' walk.
The location is extremely convenient to visit London's main attractions, such as Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum, which can be all reached on foot.
For the shopping lovers, Kensington High Street also offers a big variety of high-end shops, as well as a lot of restaurants, cafes and fancy bars.
The apartment is located in the building with a building manager who is on duty to help you from 9-11pm.
I will split this into the good and the bad:
The bad - this place is a small efficiency near the top of an average apartment building in a HIGH RENT location. If you are older and cannot navigate steps comfortably - move on. My spouse and I are marathon runners and we were a bit winded by the narrow winding staircase when we got up there. You have been warned. Once you enter the unit you will be struck by its size. The average hotel room in Vegas is bigger - having said that it is well designed for 2 people - three makes is tight unless the third is a small child.
There is really no place to cook anything except continental breakfast in the room. There is a convection microwave and small cook-top but you are really not going to do much here except reheat leftovers. Realistically though that is all you need it for.
Get to know your neighbors - you will hear them along with the pigeons. Bring earplugs and all will be forgiven.
The shower and bathroom are tiny but functional. Drop the soap? You will need to open the shower door to pick it up! BTW bring your own large bar of soap as they ration the tiny bar you get on arrival.
Fancy some TV - nope.....doesn't work. A text and e mail to the host received no response.
It is perfect for 2 people. The manager at check-in was pleasant and assisted with bags. The unit is CLEAN and the bed is comfortable. The surroundings are lovely and the neighborhood is top rate. Truly a 5-6 star location. The park is across the street - William and Kate are really your neighbors. Tube is 3 blocks away, Whole foods is 2, 24 hour bodega is 1 1/2. 5 star hotel is at the end of the block.
The take home:
Perfect for 2 fit people who are not planning on spending much time in their room. The price is fair and the location is perfect. Think of it as a Super 8 Motel next door to a 5 star resort. All of the benefits with some sacrifices.
Staying across the street from Kensington Garden has huge advantages if you like to walk run or picnic. The days we visited we did all three. We also did the hop on hop off bus, as a good way to take in what can be a large overwhelming city. The apartment had the basics. It is not fancy place it has the basics. The bed was fine, the shower was a little tricky to figure out but in general you are paying for the location. We walked the neighborhood and passed numerous embassy's. The restaurant science is first class. The Whole Foods was amazing. If you are looking for a good place for 2-3 people, this was a very suitable place.
The flat is exactly as it is billed. A nice clean apartment in a perfect location. The walk up to the 4th floor was challenging with bags but the staff was very helpful in pitching in to help. There is a bit of noise from the adjacent apartments but nothing that we too bothersome.
The bathroom and shower are very small but the rest of the apartment is the perfect size for two people to enjoy London for a few days. The staff and manager were very helpful and made the check in and check out process very easy.
I would recommend this apartment if you are traveling to London for a short stay.
Great place to stay for the cost! The apartment was exactly what I expected from the booking.com description. Mr. Farrukh (sp?) was especially helpful and pleasant with which to work. This is a terrific and safe location and I would certainly recommend it to a friend.
I booked the High St. apt. in March for Sept. stay. My email communications with the manager was quick and responsive. A real plus for me.
The property is exactly as described. It was clean, furnished, and quiet. Since we stayed less than 7 days the towels were not changed. Only one dish towel--not sufficient. We brought our own travel towel for showering and 2 dish towels. The apt. is on the 4th floor. Be prepared to walk as there is no lift.
Apt. is very close to markets-- Whole Foods, Tesco, Mark & Spencer. Also tube is nearby. Hyde Park is across the street.
Regarding customer service, the manager communicated with me consistently and clearly. However, that wasn't the case with Home Away. After initial booking, In May I requested to extend the stay for one night. The mgr. stated the apt was available whereas Home Away stated it wasn't. According to the apt mgr. Home Away did not contact him/her to confirm the extra night. Consequently we checked out.
Overall, a good place in a great location.
Stayed here with my wife and 11 yr old daughter. Couldn't be a better location and Kubra made our stay easy and went out of her way (quite literally) to help us out. It took about a day before our daughter started calling this apartment "home." Right across the street from the park, a block from the biggest coolest Whole Foods I've ever seen. Restaurants and shopping all walking distance. Convenient to High Street Kensington underground and right on bus lines too. Ride one extra stop and get off Notting Hill Gate and walk down through Notting Hill to the Apartment. I't'll be our first choice next time we visit.
