Apartment with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 large private terraces with pool. Suitable for up to 8 guests. This apartment is centrally located in the northern part of the historic center, at 5 minutes walking from Alameda de Hércules, and 15-20 minutes from the Cathedral.

The apartment is on the first and second floors of a traditional Sevillian house. It is set around a quiet inner patio, which allows in plenty of natural light.

The living room is equipped and furnished with a fireplace, a sofa, armchair and a desk. There is a large separate dining room with a table and sitting for 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with all main utensils and appliances for self-catering, including: oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (3 en-suite + 1 family bathroom). There is a double bedroom and 3 twin bedrooms – making it ideal for a large family or group of friends.

The apartment features a wonderful split level terrace with private pool. Terrace with garden furniture, plants, deck chairs, table, chairs, and a pergola to give shade - an ideal spot to relax and sunbathe. The sizable private pool is available all year round. Measures: length 6m, width 4m, depth 1.60m.

Other features: marble flooring, central air conditioning (cold/hot) and free WIFI internet access.

I was expecting a much better experience

I travel a lot and I have used HomeAway many times. All my previous experiences have been great, this is the first time I am very unhappy with my stay.

I chose this apartment for my family vacation with my parents and in-laws. First we found the house difficult due to the several stairs. The house is old and not so clean. There were dirty utensils in the kitchen (and many ants) and the pillows had some small to them. The beds were not comfortable and the bedrooms were really less than ideal. The bathrooms smelled like mold and the shower curtains were dirty and stained. I did emailed the staff and they were prompt in bringing new pillows, which seemed clean.

The worst thing that happened is that this house is connected to another house, and the person who lives there is NOT the ideal neighbor. First, my idea of going on vacation with my family does not include a neighbor. This arrangement of the house, to my view, has to be disclosed in the description of the house. This neighbor smoked a lot the the whole house smelled like smoke. This was almost unbearable to us, and we are all non-smokers. Because he smokes in the area between the houses and in this central garden, the smoke goes straight up to the house, like a chimney. I discussed this with veoapartments and they talked to this person, which did not help at all. He actually came to us to complain about it!! The last thing we want to do in vacation is to deal with this kind of problems.

When I chose this place one of the things I reviewed was their ratings through their website and this place was rated as four stairs. We never get anything below four stars. This is untrue information, the most this is a two star place.

I always choose non-smoking places and this is listed as non-smoking property, which I think is misleading since this “neighbor” smokes in the common area. Unfortunately he is at his own house and he has the right to do whatever he wants.

The staff at veoapartments was always very nice and helpful, but the property has many problems.

I would recommend that they disclose the “neighbor” and explain that this is not a non-smoking property.

And if they really want to be a 4-star property they need to work on the cleaniness of the place, get new bedding and pillows that are more comfortable, chance those terrible shower curtains and towels.

Also the internet does not work at all.

Location

The apartment Miguel Terrace is centrally located in the neighborhood of Macarena, in the northern part of the historic centre of Seville, close to Alameda de Hércules. The Cathedral is about a 15-20 minute walk.

Partially enclosed by a section of Seville’s ancient city wall, Macarena overflows with character stemming from its working-class history.

There is the wonderful fresh food market on Feria Street, as well as several bakeries, grocery stores, tapas bars and restaurants all nearby. The vibrant Alameda de Hércules is a recently renovated tree-lined square, popular with families during the day and with those who enjoy night-life after dark. The Alameda has many cafés, modern terrace bars and clubs which stay open late into the night.

Heading north you'll find the Macarena gate, within a long stretch of the original city defensive walls, and the Basilica of the Macarena, home of one of Seville's most venerated religious images of the Virgin Mary.
