Lovely and cozy fully furnished one bedroom apartment centrally located in the heart of Manor Park, excellent location. 3-minute drive to shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment, supermarkets, and the financial district.

We are 15 minutes away from Bob Marley Museum, Emancipation, Park, Devon House Ice Cream, Jerk Pork Centre and the hip strip in New Kingston. Taxi stand and public transport can be easily accessible.
Utilities, Iron, Wi-Fi, Parking, Security remote gate included. Transportation is available for pickup if necessary.

Misleading advertisement and poor response to my concerns
I had to phone VRBO and be on the line for well over one hour to try and establish Contact with the owner so that I could determine the location of the property and where I could pick up the keys. This was the day before I was flying from an international destination to Jamaica. This was the day before my arrival and only hours before I was boarding my flight. After I had commuted for over 24 hours internationally and despite constant communication on the day of check-in, the lady managing the property was still over 30 minutes late for the check in formalities. Once I got to the property I discovered that many of the lights did not function. Many of the light switches did not operate the lights that were functioning. Their recommendation was to hand screw and unscrew bulbs so that the lights could be turned on and off. After one day, the cold water supply line to the bathroom failed and it was leaking into the hallway floor. I was unable to shower as the only water for showering was from the hot water tank. Therefore, the water would be scalding as there was no cold water to the bathroom. When the stove was turned on it made a constant rattling sound from the control panel. It was very irritating. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was on the same circuit as the light therefore you couldn’t have the fan on without having the light on which is inconvenient when you’re trying to sleep. Interestingly, the switch for that particular circuit was behind the door so when you entered the room in the dark it was difficult to find the light switch. In summary, the property is probably 50 to 60 years old and needs serious updating so that it conforms to what would be considered a normal rental apartment unit. When I explained this to Lenny the owner and suggested that I should receive some discount for all of these inconveniences he refused and said that because I stayed there for three days it must’ve been OK. Again, given that I had commuted 24 hours to get to Jamaica and spent some time identifying his property through the VRBO website, I didn’t really want to spend my time in Jamaica looking for a new property. The advertising is completely misleading for this property. Lenny had mentioned that he had not been to see his property in quite some time and that was obvious.
