Ideal for 3 couples each with large bedroom and private bath/shower room

This is a large 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom family Home , with separate spacious Drawing and Dining rooms, Cloakroom with WC & WHB, fully fitted Kitchen and a separate Utility room, all ideally located in the West End of the City Centre. Can be arranged for 3 couples with own room and private bath or shower room each, or as 6 single beds in the 3 bedrooms. Extra small single beds can be provided in 2 of the bedrooms at no extra cost, allowing for families/groups of up to 8 in total..

It comprises the ground and lower ground levels of a traditional old Victorian stone-built terraced town-house with its own secluded and private walled garden and patio/terrace with table and seating area at the rear.

It is situated in a quiet single-sided leafy crescent just a few minutes walk from the central Princess and George Street shopping areas as well as the Haymarket Railway Station and Transport hub and surrounding restaurant area, 2 Art Galleries, and the Edinburgh Conference Center. There are 3 late opening supermarkets, and other convenience shops, in the Haymarket and West End areas, as well as a Post Office and Banks with ATM facilities.

The view from the large front bay window is across to private gardens, to which guests have access, and through mature trees towards the Art Galleries. The picturesque Water of Leith Walkway runs at the bottom of this garden, with access only 2 minutes from our front door.

This a family House, our home in fact as we live here ourselves part of the year. It will feel like a home, not a bland hotel or minimally furnished apartment building, and so we would hope you will enjoy it as a Home as much as we do.

Very quiet and comfortable

We had a lovely stay. The property is exactly as described on the website and is very convenient for the centre of town. Most places we wanted to go to for the Fringe were within half an hour's walk so we walked everywhere. The patio at the back of the house is a sun-trap on fine days.

A warm, charming 2-story flat in a lovely Edinburgh neighborhood.

Our family of eight stayed in this home for eight nights and nine days. It was more than we hoped for! It was extremely roomy and gracious, with high ceilings and large windows. It was carved out of a mansion and is now two stories, with three bedrooms, three baths on the lower floor, plus a large laundry room, and a gorgeous living room, huge dining room and a pretty, very workable kitchen. There is also a guest bathroom upstairs, and a large entry. All upstairs rooms have lovely windows. The neighborhood is perfect and we could walk all over Edinburgh from this flat. Somehow, neither the description nor the photos give the house justice. We felt lucky to stay there! Highly recommended!!

Our family had a lovely stay Property ID 1696764

We loved everything about our stay, the entire home was clean, beautiful and very comfortable. Even though we were on holiday I loved cooking, the kitchen was very inviting, the dining room allowed our family to have meals together, it was nice to look out at the garden while enjoying our morning coffee. The bedrooms were large all bathrooms were very nice and so many books something for everyone.

Very good place

The house was spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The location was very convenient; we ended up walking a lot, which we enjoyed. The neighborhood was interesting yet quiet, with a lot of greenery. The host was very friendly and helpful. We really liked our stay there! :-)

Perfect property for a family trip to Edinburgh

My family (myself, husband, 2 sons - 18 and 23, and my parents - late 70's) stayed there for 3 nights last week. The flat is in a beautiful area in the West End. Having never been to Edinburgh before. I didn't know anything about where to stay in the city. I'm so glad a chose the West End. It is the quieter, residential part of the city filled with beautiful old row houses with parks in between them. The apartment was very large with 3 1/2 baths and 3 bedrooms. Each bedroom had plenty of space for us and the beds were very comfortable. It has a large living room, dining room and the kitchen had everything you needed. It even has a small garden in the back which is perfect to sit out in when the sun is shining. It was about a 15 minute walk to the center of the city or about a 8 pound taxi ride. We really enjoyed staying at this flat and would recommend it to anyone. It's the perfect space for a larger group who doesn't want to be in the bustle of the city, yet close to it.
