Stunning 2 Bedroom quite Rustic Cottage Near to Keswick Town Centre

Visiting Keswick doesn’t come much better when combined with a stay at pretty Crag Cottage. Located down a quiet cul-de-sac just 75 yards from Keswick town square, our traditional two bedroom rustic cottage is superbly positioned.

Crag has been recently refurbished and is tastefully decorated and presented to a very high standard. It is ideal for a couple, friends or small family. There is a petite and secluded patio garden with mature shrubs at the cottages front. This area is ideal for enjoying an alfresco dinner, and there is the benefit of private parking to the rear of the property.

This lovely Keswick cottage has been traditionally styled to suit the history of the property. There are, of course, all the mod cons and comforts expected in a high quality holiday home – WiFi Internet access, flat screen tv, dvd, central heating, comfortable beds – but also some nice traditional aspects such as handmade oak shelving and a cosy wood burning stove.

Keswick is a beautiful town with great parks, good shopping, quality restaurants, an amazing theatre, stunning scenery and much more. The main town square is centred around the famous Moot Hall, now the Keswick tourist information centre, and market days are on Thursdays and Saturdays. Many of the shops and restaurants surround the pedestrianised square and there is always something to do. Crag Cottage sits down a sleepy and quiet cul-de-sac about 150 yards from the Moot Hall.

Please be aware that there are two self catering properties called Crag Cottage in Keswick. Ours is very close to Keswick town square, has private parking and a patio garden, the other doesn’t!

Our cottages are completely non-smoking and unfortunately we don’t accept pets.

Crag Cottage is a traditional slate-built cottage with sash windows, comfortable furnishings and facilities, very close to Keswick town centre. The cottage has gas central heating and comprises of:

Fabulous Location

Great location cottage, comfortable, cosy and homely. Literally one minute walk from Keswick Market Square for pubs, cafes and restaurants. Parking at cottage makes it handy, can just park and have no worries for out staying parking hours etc.

It was absolutely perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

Ariadna has created a very homey cottage here. The location is great, almost right behind the Dog and Gun, for starters! Everything and more that is necessary is in the kitchen. There is a lovely warm fireplace and excellent wifi . The bedrooms are perfect . There is a hairdryer too which I found useful since I travelled s long way and didn't want to bring my own. Ariadna herself is so helpful if you need to connect with her. I would love to stay again and again.

Charming and conveniently located

  • 5 of 5

Quaint cottage with town around the corner. Cute kitchen and nice sitting room with a wood stove for a lovely fire. Note that bedrooms are on 2nd floor and the one bathroom on the 1st floor.

Keswick Cottage

  • 3 of 5

Good location, near to shops...within minutes walking to lake, theatre, shopping etc. Americans, beware...its not on a normal street...only accessible by car from the alley in back. So don't worry about GPS front door. You can exit front door into quaint small gardens and a lane up to the shopping. Quaint is key word and snug.

We boated and climbed and shopped and ate well! Check Lake Theatre for plays too.

Beautiful little cottage

  • 5 of 5

Following a lovely stay in this cottage last year, we decided to stay again here this year.

We were not disappointed! This was another great stay in a very well-equipped cottage. There really isn't anything else we could have asked for and the location is superb!
