The idea great escape.

Lovely fully equipped cottage with large comfy beds. In beautiful surroundings although secluded only a few minutes drive from a couple of lovely pubs with great food. Really good communication with James about a potential problem before we went.

We had a wonderful few days in this lovely cottage on Exmoor. The landscape surrounding is the most beautiful possible, and the cottage is lovingly renovated with all modern conveniences and a wonderful ambiance. Thank you for sharing it with us, we will return! (Kamilla, Sweden, family with 2 teenage chilrden.)

We had a fantastic few days. The cottage had everything we needed and the children loved playing in the garden and rowing the boat.

Everything about our stay was perfect! James has always been super nice and helpful. North Huckham is such an idillic place, it's just the perfect location to explore the national park! The house itself is just beyond fantastic - the owners definitely paid a lot of attention to every single detail and they didn't go unnoticed! Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was so well set up, we had everything we needed, which is so rare in a self-catering accommodation. The was plenty of dry wood which was amazing considering how freezing the nights were during our stay, so the house was always warm and cozy! The hot water worked perfectly every time and we didn't have to wait around to take a shower. All the rooms are so tastefully decorated, beds are warm and comfortable. Also there are plenty of boardgames, good quality books, a piano and an organ and the internet works really well (that is also rare) so evening time entertainment was definitely not an issue. If you are looking for anywhere to stay in the Exmoor park don't look any further, I would reccomend this place to anyone. We all wished we could've stayed longer and we left a bit of our hearts there!
