Preston Villa is an elegant Victorian townhouse situated in the centre of town that has been converted into two very spacious apartments this one being ground floor with gas central heating and double glazing, accommodation comprises:

Large Hallway

Spacious Lounge with free view 42' plasma TV, recordable digibox & DVD player

Dining Room with seating for 4, digital radio

Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine

Utility Area with large larder store

Bedroom 1: Spacious double bedroom to front of property

Bedroom 2: Spacious double bedroom with 2 single beds

Bedroom 3: 3/4 size bed

Bathroom: very large family bathroom with bath, twin sinks, toilet and separate shower enclosure.

All fuel, power, wifi, bed linen and towels included ~ Minimum 3 night stay ~ No Smoking inside the property ~ Small pets may be acceptable but please contact owner first

The town centre of Buckie boasts a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, café's, take aways a leisure centre & bingo hall. It is ideally placed to visit the abundance of quaint fishing villages and picturesque harbours littered along this part of the Scottish coastline. The stunning scenery can be appreciated as you follow the Speyside Way or Malt Whisky Trail.

Our location makes us central to areas such as Inverness and Loch Ness and Aberdeen and Royal Deeside making Buckie an ideal location for day trips to many other areas in the North East of Scotland or in the Highlands.

Moray is a top destination for sea fishing, as well as Salmon and Trout fishing on the world famous River Spey (Essil beat being only 10 mins drive). There are eight 5 star visitor attractions in the area as well as 16 golf courses, including a famous championship links course at Lossiemouth & Banff. There are activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, walking, field sports, hiking, hill walking, climbing, camping and caravanning, sailing, diving, water skiing and winter skiing. Moray is the county of Macbeth and is steeped in history, with a wealth of castles, historical buildings and sites to explore. Moray is whisky country and has the only Malt Whisky Trail in the world, which is a unique selling point for our area.

Buckie is well served by golf courses with the eastern and western edges of the community ending in 18 holes. To the eastern extremity with a spectacular clifftop location lies Strathlene Golf Course which stretches almost all the way to the village of Findochty and to the west, also on a clifftop, lies Buckpool Golf Club which reaches a good part of the way to the village of Portgordon.

Buckie is also at the start of the Speyside Way long distance footpath. There is magnificent coastal scenery all along the Banff coast, with easy access to areas such as Glenlivet, Speyside and the Cairngorms.

We also have great beaches here with Strathlene just over the road or Cullen a 120 min drive away

FANTASTIC STAY AND GREAT PROPERTY

A lovely property in a nice location by the sea. Very clean and tidy. Lovely little touches like some basic essentials on arrival including milk, bread and some lovely local butteries (If you haven't tried them you really must. Very tasty). Owner Lorraine was very welcoming and helpful.

Only real down side was there was no bath mat in the bathroom but doesn't retract from the overall positives of the stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a holiday on the Moray Firth coast.
