Dartmoor and Exmoor are both nearby with their rugged scenery and wildlife or you could explore the lovely countryside walks available from the doorstep. Cyclists are well catered for with the famous Tarka Trail which is within easy reach and which can also be enjoyed by walkers with a few welcome watering holes along the way. You will be within easy reach of riding stables coarse fishing at Stafford Moor and RHS Rosemoor Gardens. There are also the long sandy surfing beaches to the north including Croyde Instow and Westward Ho! as well as sheltered coves to explore. This charming semi-detached cottage is full of character and hails from a bygone age. As such care must be taken with some uneven floors and low doorways and beams. The cottage which has beautiful exposed beams throughout is accessed via cottage style stairs. On entering you will find yourself in the cosy and traditional lounge. With its traditional inglenook fireplace with wood burner (first basket of logs included) TV Blue Ray player HD recorder and iPod dock this is an ideal space for relaxation. You will also find an elegant dining room. Heading into the well-equipped and stylish kitchen you will find everything you could need including an electric hob and oven microwave fridge freezer dishwasher washing machine and TV. The bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and WC is on the ground floor. Going upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms: two double rooms and a bunk bedroom which is suitable for children. A separate WC can also be found on this floor. Stepping outside you can relax in the enclosed rear garden which is approached via several external steps with a handrail. Here you will find a delightful patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ which is perfect for dining alfresco. There is also an outside building perfect for storing fishing rods and bicycles. To the front of the property is an enclosed paved area with seating and a herb garden which you are welcome to pick from. Off-road parking is available to the front of the property for two cars; further parking is available at the village hall.
