Our stay in your beautiful mountain home was wonderful. The appliances are first class and the whole kitchen is beautiful and fully-equipped. The kitchen/dining area/family room was so convenient and a favorite gathering place for our family of 12. The hot tub was used daily between adventures and early evenings. Washer and dryer came in handy. Thanks for sharing your home in a lovely quiet neighborhood near Teton Village, Jackson, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We would highly recommend this home and would love to return some day. Good communication with the owner.

Beautiful house, beautiful country

  • 5 of 5

If you are visiting the Tetons, particularly with a relatively large group, you can't beat this house. We brought our whole family, all 12 of us, 4 couples in 4 bedrooms with 4 grandchildren in a sleeping loft, and we all loved it. We could spread out in the two living rooms, have privacy if we wanted it, and enjoyed a hot tub to boot. It's in a quiet neighborhood so don't go there if you want rowdyness, but if you like a resident mother moose and her calf down the street, it's your place.

Back again for our second stay.

  • 4 of 5

We rented this house five years ago for our three generation family visit to Yellowstone and the Tetons and liked it enough to come back again this year. We once again had a great time and utilized every space of the house as our grandchildren often played in one living room while the adults were in the other. The kids loved the hot tub and were amazed when a moose and her offspring visited the back yard as did a deer with three little ones. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Our one complaint involved the windows. It was warm during our stay and since the house has no air conditioning, you need the windows to be open. Unfortunately only about half the windows have screens and many of the windows which are small are difficult or can't be opened. As a result, the house was hot and uncomfortable. There are small fans provided but for the cost of your stay, simple maintenance of the windows and screen replacement should be included. The other item we found unusual given the great design of the house was the laundry area. Because of the type of doors used, you can't move clothes from the washer to the dryer without closing one door before opening another. Its extremely inconvenient. Overall, it was a great stay and the house is located in a nice neighborhood in close proximity to Teton Village and Teton NP.

Run down, things didn't work!

  • 1 of 5

Walking into this house, a distinct musty smell. Figured out it was the bathroom with the window in the shower. Blinds on said window, same with the one directly above. Yuck!

The wood floors needed to be refinished, carpeting up the stairs was dirty looking, and walls were in need of a fresh coat of paint. This is an older property that has not seen much love. Half of the stove top did not work. Hard to cook meals. Oven was fine. Refrigerator wouldn't make ice, my son looked up the code and found out the coils needed to be cleaned, which he did. My son-in-law put the drawer in the freezer back on track so we could actually use the freezer space. Washer and dryer were side loaders and in a closet. Hard to use as sliders were tight next to them. Also, dryer venting is obviously clogged as it took 2 hours on high to dry a load of towels. Speaking of towels, there were not enough in the bathrooms for all of us to take showers. Called the management company and they told us where to find a key to get into the "owners closet" to get more. Lot's of light bulbs burned out, but found replacements in that owner's closet. One of the lamps was broken in my room and I think someone else as well. Not enough bathrooms in this house! All in all, would not recommend this house to anyone. Oh, and we had a mouse that popped out of my daughter-in-laws luggage the day before we left. Tried to catch it unsuccessfully. Did call about that and a maintenance person came and set traps. Pretty sure it walked in the front door as the weather stripping had a large hole.

With some improvements this could be a 5 star rating

  • 3 of 5

My friends and I vacation together every year and traditionally stay in a rental home. While the Aspens is located in a fantastic neighborhood close to both Jackson and the Teton Mountains, we were a little disappointed. When we arrived (well after the allowed check-in time) there were baskets of clean towels/sheets in the hallway. We were greeted with cleaning supplies and unmade beds. We immediately called the owner who responded promptly. The home had been empty for over a month and the cleaning staff did not finish their job. Someone came out within a 1/2 hour and picked up everything. Knowing the house was empty for a month we thought that may be a great opportunity for someone to paint, change light bulbs, clean carpets....but it was obvious that wasn't the case. But, with some work we all feel this house could be a 5. The layout is wonderful, with plenty of space. The kitchen has upscale appliances (but could use better pots and pans to cook with). Our flight on Sunday, was later and the owner added 45 minutes to our check out time (we were grateful for that). We would return to this home, if updates were made.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your feedback and for staying with us. We apologize for the mishap with our cleaning crew - they have always been exceptional, but this time, a mistake was made. We take your other concerns to heart and will have them addressed right away. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. Sincerely, Ian
