About Gaia Vitolo
We are a family with two children. My job is tailoring and my partner is a painter. After an experience in New York we decided to return to our home town, Bologna, even if the trip and the discovery of new land have never left us.
Gaia Vitolo purchased this Apartment in 2000
Why Gaia Vitolo chose Palazzo Strozzi
The house was bought by my family because we are in love with the beauties and history of our country and the location of this accommodation are truly irresistible, in the heart of the vibrant city.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment keeps the typical characteristics of a Florentine dwelling, it is extremely quiet and it allows you to rest peacefully after long and intense walks and tours during the day.

Solid neighborhood close to train station and all the other sites while still on a street that's more quiet than other areas in the neighborhood. Great hosts too.
Architectural Digest worthy apartment!
The owners and their work partners were very friendly and helpful to my family and me. They own an upscale clothing store right next to the apartment that you should definitely check out! The apartment was in an ideal location-perfect for walking around beautiful Florence! Enjoy!

Hello Justin, thank you for everything, your feedback is very appreciated
Wonderful property and great communication with property owner
From start to finish it was a great experience booking and staying at this property. I feel like I have made a lifelong friend with the property owner and the property itself is amazing. The little details like high quality linens and tea/coffee supplies to the exquisite detail of the remote control skylights in the bedrooms were wonderful attributes of this property. We will be back and we will definitely stay at this property again. The details and photos perfectly depict this lovely apartment. So thrilled to find it! Thank you Gaia!
Claudia,I can say only good things about my experience,it was really great to have you guys in my flat,we did love every minute
great location, delightful atmosphere and very accommodating hosts
We were three couples who traveled to Florence together and were fortunate to be able to book this wonderful place on short notice for one night. It was such a convenient location for touring the city and had all we needed.
The decor was beautiful and it was fun to open the windows and look outside at the street and views below.
The manager, Stefano was very helpful and accommodating for us to leave our luggage so we could enjoy Florence before leaving by train the next afternoon.
The bedrooms upstairs were nice size and had their own bathrooms.
The third bedroom was a hide a bed in the loft with the bath on the main level. Our only complain was that a bed would have been much more comfortable for a good night's sleep in the loft.
That said...we would stay there again and give it 5 stars....a regular bed would be and add on 6 star!!!
Vigna Nuova street, one of the main streets of the centre Florence, located in a rich and attractive neighbourhood. This street is really interesting, since it houses various renowned and exclusive boutique brands. In the same street you can find amazing examples of architecture like Palazzo Rucellai designed by the multi-faceted Renaissance figure, Leon Battista Alberti. The same palace that houses the apartments, a beautiful example of noble architecture of the seventeenth century.
