About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths

Yellowstone Park Riverfront Cabin 1. Year-round rental available for premium recreational activities. Just a few steps from world-class blue-ribbon trout fishing and hiking in the National Forest. Walk, hike, or ride horseback through the National Forest entry. Only a casual walk of 1100+/- feet to boundary of Yellowstone Park. Approximately a four-and-a-half mile drive through the Park to the Roosevelt Arch entry at Gardiner (the North Gate). NOTE PLEASE: The 2017 Calendar for this cabin #69590 has few openings available, however, if the open dates do not meet your preferred dates, I listed another near identical cabin on VRBO.com #935195

Note: As I have reservations for 9 months to a year in advance and many return guests who reserve early, be sure to call (406) 570-4500 at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred dates.

ALSO CHECK OUT #935195 (similar cabin by same owner) for available dates.

Here is your unique opportunity to enjoy Mammoth's geological wonders and the vast variety of wildlife and activities of Yellowstone National Park as well as numerous educational possibilities.

The cabin is modern, comfortable, convenient, and in a very private setting (not on the highway) with spectacular scenic views of the Park, wildlife, and Electric Peak. It is just like being in the Park without being in the crowds. Its location is near the campfire area on the banks of the Yellowstone River.

Cabin 1 has two master suites (each with luxury queen beds and bath), flat-screen TV's, fully equipped kitchen, covered private patio, WiFi, washer/dryer.

The cabin is located 47+/- miles to Livingston, 70+/-miles to Bozeman. There is a county airport in Gardiner and Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport is 75+/- miles.

Note: Your early reservation, prior to January 1, will ensure the lowest peak-season rate.

Depending upon desired dates, it can be possible to reserve independently owned cabins for additional guests if you are planning a larger get-together. Without exception, I have been told my cabin is superior to my guests expectations.

Don't forget that the Gardiner/North Gate entrance to Yellowstone Park, Mammoth, the Lamar Valley, and Cooke City, is open year-around. Winter in Yellowstone is awesome!

PLEASE CALL 406-570-4500 to inquire about dates and availability.

Note: Video link shows interior of Cabin 1. Cabin 8 location on the banks of the Yellowstone is the same and the amenities are nearly identical.

About Bonnie Lynn

I love sharing my passion for the beauty and wonders of Yellowstone Park. I attend many of the classes offered in Yellowstone and know it would take many lifetimes to embrace the full impact of this incredible National Park preservation. As one guest said the other day: 'I have traveled the whole world and Yellowstone is my favorite!'

Why Bonnie Lynn chose Yellowstone

The Yellowstone Park Riverfront Cabins are set in a prime location at Gardiner. It's just like being in the Park without being in the crowds. There's not only the fact that the cabins are on the banks of world-class blue-ribbon trout fishing and across the road from the National Forest, but guests can walk into Yellowstone Park, approximately 1100 feet south from the driveway entrance.

What makes this cabin unique

The unique benefits of Cabin 1's amenities are the primary reasons why many guests return for visits. It's just a short drive (fewer than 5 miles) from the cabin to the Park through the Roosevelt Arch entry in Gardiner and fewer than 20 minutes to Mammoth. Guests enjoy a modern, clean, convenient, well-equipped cabin home and do not need to move from one place to another to enjoy the entire Park because the cabin is within easy access of all the wonders of Yellowstone.

Outstanding!

  • 5 of 5

We could not have asked to stay in a nicer place. It had all the amenities, plus more. It was beautifully decorated and fit the surroundings. Bonnie was the perfect host and helped in anyway we needed her to before, during, and after our stay. I have recommended this cabin to two of my co-workers. Would love to bring the rest of my family back there again.

Perfect stay

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in Bonnie's cabin for nearly 6 months and absolutely love the place. The cabin is perfect. It has all one needs for a great stay near Yellowstone National Park. It just takes 10 minutes to get to the North entrance and Gardiner. The location on the river is magnificent. Bonnie was always there when I needed her and helped in all possible ways: she is amazing!

My absolute favorite rental ever!!!!

  • 5 of 5

One of my dearest friends and I decided that we would rent Bonnie's immaculate cabin for the duration of 6 months during this winter. We are both in love with the wonders of Yellowstone, and we quickly came to love Bonnie and her cabin (which we now call home). We wanted to be close to the Park, close to town, and within the beauty of nature. This stunning cabin has given us all of this and so much more than we could have possibly hoped for.

I remember the first day I woke up here and I walked outside on to the porch, my heart caught in my chest from the splendor that I felt so deeply lucky to witness. The river runs right outside, the mountain peeks rise against a splendid horizon to greet you, and all I could do was smile deeply and try to not become overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of it all.

The tranquility and sheer majesty of the surroundings are enough to make me not ever want to leave, and the cabin itself feels like the most welcoming of home. The space is warm, inviting, and utterly comforting. Every detail has been tended to with love and care by Bonnie. The entire cabin is flooded with natural light, and windows that lend themselves to the most gorgeous views. There has not been a day that I have not woken up with the deepest of gratitude and awe for getting to call this magical place home. The cabin itself is luxurious and homey all at once. Every possible modern convenience from a new washer and dryer, to all sorts of wonderful cooking gadgets in the kitchen, have been provided and a touch of home to everyday life here. The water is always very hot, and the heat is perfect even on the coldest of winter days. The bedrooms are huge, and each has two queen beds that help relax the body after a day of hiking and marveling in the natural wonders.

There are so many things that I love about living in Bonnie's cabin, that the list expands each day. I love waking up and rolling out my yoga mat to practice each morning as I look across towards Electric Peak. I love walking down by the river and meditating. I love going out for walks around the cabin and photographing in both Yellowstone Park and Gallatin Forest. I am in love with and in awe of all of the stunning animals that make their way onto the land from the elk, mule deer, rabbits, bison, eagles and hawks. Above all else, I love Bonnie for her warmth, her kindness, her beautiful heart, and for allowing us to make our home here. My gratitude to Bonnie is lifelong.

Owner's Response: Wow ... how does one top this review? As you are an accomplished writer and photographer your words show the essence of why I provide what I do ... for your enjoyment of the cabin, our location, and enjoying the wonders of Yellowstone! Yes, the splendor of the surroundings and the wildlife we have visit us is a gift. With your approval, I hope to share one of your many photos on my website of a royal bull elk looking in the cabin's picture window at you. We have great wildlife neighbors at different times during the year which emphasizes the words I share of "we are like being in the Park without being in the crowds". I feel blessed that you both have become dear friends that I have also learned to love!

A perfect stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our group of four adults stayed for 5 nights in this lovely secluded cabin. The setting is peaceful and absolutely beautiful and only minutes from Yellowstone Park. The cabin itself was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for a relaxing evening after a hectic day exploring the park. The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and very nice pillows and comforters. The addition of several coat racks and hooks to hand outerwear was most welcome. The cabin was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had all the amenities to cook any meal. We really enjoyed having the electric grill. Bonnie was most helpful and informative. I would not hesitate to return to this lovely cabin and actually hope to bring my grandchildren here someday. I don't think you can go wrong with this cabin.

Relaxing and beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 3 nights in June with another couple. It was wonderful to sit on the patio and relax after a busy day in Yellowstone National Park. We saw river rafters float by and the view in all directions is beautiful. The washer and dryer were such a plus and the kitchen is fully equipped so we were able to cook in after a hectic day in the park. Bonnie is very helpful and we enjoyed getting to know her through emails. It is furnished wonderfully and I wanted to take the couch and chair home with me. The beds are comfortable and having a bathroom for each couple is great. I highly recommended Bonnie's cabin on the river for couples or families. You will be glad you stayed in this peaceful retreat from very busy Yellowstone.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your 5 star review. Your confirmation to others stating “you will be glad you stayed in this peaceful retreat from very busy Yellowstone” is music to my ears, as I tell people we are like being in the Park without being in the crowds. Creating a “home away from home” is my goal for my guests. It is important for me that my guests have a “relaxing and beautiful setting” while experiencing the wonders of Yellowstone. As mentioned in my cabin journal, your testimonies are my treasurers. I would be honored with your return visit!

Perfect Yellowstone Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place to stay and explore Yellowstone. We loved the privacy of the cabin, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Yellowstone and Gardiner, yet close enough to be able to shop for food and get to the park easily.

We loved all the amenities, special coffeemaker, washer and dryer, comfy beds, two bathrooms! Enjoyed the deck and just relaxing. Be sure to stay up and look at the stars at night. They are fantastic. We will definitely be back!
