Lovely location but disappointing presentation
The 'cottage' was in a lovely location on the Rousdon estate - very quiet and peaceful - but the presentation was really disappointing. In particular, no hairdryer was provided and there were no instructions for the central heating ( the clocks also seemed to have been set incorrectly and there were some baffling instructions on one of the sets of controls). We also could not find the visitors' book for comments or the remote for the DVD player but in the event it didn't matter as it was unusable (everything had a reddish cast), and the towels in one of the bedrooms did not appear to be clean. Most disconcerting of all, the kitchen window and one of the sitting room windows were peppered with small holes which appeared to be hits from an air rifle.
