Situated in the picturesque coastal village of Appledore this property is within walking distance of the nearby Maritime Museum pubs restaurants and quay where the annual Appledore Book Festival takes place in September. Catch the seasonal ferry across to Instow or head to nearby Westward Ho! for a day at the beach or a round on the green at the Royal Devon Golf Course. Located close to the Atlantic Highway guests can enjoy easy access to North Cornwall and Exmoor perfect for day trips and long walks. Inside the accommodation has been beautifully designed and decorated to include oak flooring vaulted ceilings contemporary fittings and plenty of natural light through extensive windows and doors. The large open-plan reception on the first floor is the hub of the home with the kitchen at one end and bi-folding doors to the patio at the other creating a distinctly al fresco feel throughout. In the contemporary kitchen area you will find an electric double oven hob fridge freezer and dishwasher while a separate utility room houses the washing machine tumble dryer sink and useful storage cupboards. Enjoy meals at the dining table before relaxing in the lounge area which sits beneath a high vaulted ceiling. Together with the stylish wood burner you will find plenty to keep you entertained throughout your stay including a TV DVD/Blu-ray and iPod dock. Also on the first floor is a king-size bedroom which benefits from a wall-mounted TV and en-suite wet room. Upstairs on the second floor are two twin bedrooms with sloping ceilings and en-suite shower rooms perfect for children. Located on the ground floor are the two remaining bedrooms each with double doors opening out onto the patio area to the front of the house. A super-king-size bedroom benefits from a walk-in wardrobe and shares an en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with a twin bedroom. Bi-folding doors in the lounge area create a seamless link between inside and outside. The private patio (which can be enclosed) features a BBQ and garden furniture to seat all guests perfect for al fresco meals in the sunshine.
