Located in a quiet spot inside the entrance of a private drive 50 yards from the village shop/Post Office and 1 mile from the unspoilt little beach of Crackington Haven. The immediate area has much to offer including a sandy beach rock pools access onto the National Trust Coast Path pub/restaurant surf shop and cafés overlooking the beach at Crackington Haven. Nearby Bude also offers a selection of shops supermarkets canal walks and ten-pin bowling. You will also be a short drive from the popular destinations of Newquay Padstow and Rock to name but a few with their array of boutique shopping art galleries and restaurants. Tintagel steeped in the myth and legend of King Arthur is a great day out for history lovers while Bodmin Moor with its rugged awe-inspiring views and selection of walks caters for the more energetic. Outside: both properties offer front and rear lawns with picnic table and BBQ. Amenities: ample parking and communal laundry facilities on-site. Bed linen towels electric and night storage heating included. Regret no smoking. Location: beach pub shop Post Office and playground all within walking distance. The accommodation offers ONE double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath shower over and WC. Lounge/diner: with TV/DVD. Kitchenette: with electric cooker fridge/freezer and microwave. 2 small dogs welcome.
The property was small but comfortable, ideal for two people and had all the equipment needed. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Seating areas in both front and back gardens plus barbecue. Shop/Post office opposite was stocked with all essentials. Crackington Haven has pub and cafe and the Coast Path can be accessed from there.
Bude is within easy reach and has many interesting features as well as good surfing. Many other places of interest nearby and good eating places. The Coast path is quite challenging but with wonderful views and solitude. Rock formation is unique, and the sound of the sea is constant.
A comfortable cottage,good walking, I would recommend this location and to many of my friends and family.
