About the property

The market town of Wadebridge and its bustling town centre can be found a short walk away over a footbridge and offers a variety of shops restaurants and cafes. Also within a short stroll from the property are a children s park and playing fields as well as the Camel Trail. This popular trail follows a disused railway line for 17 miles between Padstow and Bodmin with Wadebridge being at the halfway mark. Padstow is a popular seaside village famous for its connection to chef Rick Stein who has several eateries there can be reached by bike. The beautiful beaches of Rock and Polzeath are also close by perfect for a day at the seaside. Throughout this 18th century property you will find bags of period charm shown in original features such as the doorways exposed stonework and wooden ceiling beams. The welcoming lounge is cosy and relaxing; put your feet up and watch the TV/DVD. A wood burner is the key feature of this lounge warming up those chilly evenings with the first basket of logs included. Behind the lounge area you will find the diner where the dining table comfortably seats four and doors open out onto the patio. It s not only the perfect place to enjoy a hearty breakfast or a family meal but also a delicious cream tea offered upon arrival. The kitchen provides everything you may need to whip up a meal during your stay: an electric oven and hob under-counter fridge/freezer microwave washing machine and dishwasher. The bathroom can also be found on the ground floor featuring a shower over bath and WC. Steep cottage-style stairs lead up to the first floor where the two bedrooms can be found. The first is a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed while the other is a compact twin room. To the rear of the property there is an enclosed patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ perfect for enjoying some food al-fresco on a sunny day. Off-road parking is available.
