Chapel Amble is a quintessential countryside village with a village shop/post office and a pub serving delicious home-cooked meals just seconds from the property. A small children s farm can also be found in the village which also has a swimming pool and tennis courts that can be enjoyed for a small charge. A few miles drive on the country lanes surrounding the village will take you to the coastal resorts of Rock Polzeath and Daymer Bay home to some beautiful sandy beaches. The nearest large town is Wadebridge where there is a wide choice of places to shop eat and drink. For a place to stay on the more unusual side this property definitely ticks all the boxes. The property s original high-arched windows help to let lots of light in to really show off what s inside. It has been imaginatively converted and though it retains some original features it has all the modern conveniences needed to enjoy your stay here. Step inside the property and you will find the spacious open plan lounge kitchen and dining area. The lounge is the perfect place to relax thanks to the wood burner which is found on a locally-mined slate hearth alongside the TV/DVD. The kitchen is equipped with a large electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. A large farmhouse table seating up to ten people can also be found in the dining area. All three of the bedrooms can be found up the staircase which leads to a galleried landing. These include two double bedrooms which each feature a mezzanine platform where there is also a single bed. The mezzanines can only be reached via ship-style ladders not considered suitable for those under the age of eight. A king-size bed and a single bed can be found in the third bedroom. The bathroom with a roll-top bath and WC is lovely and spacious while there is also a separate shower room with WC downstairs. Steps lead out of the property to the private decking area which features plenty of seating perfect for enjoying an evening drink on. Should you wish to prepare food al-fresco there is also a separate BBQ area. Underneath the decking plenty of storage space is available perfect for keeping surfboards bicycles and more in during your stay. Ample parking for two cars is available directly outside of the property.
