This property sleeping four guests enjoys a quiet rural location just three miles from the pretty town of Bideford. There are plenty of beaches within an easy driving distance not least the wide expanse of sandy beach at Westward Ho! Other places of interest in the area include: The Big Sheep a fun family farm park the beautiful gardens at RHS Rosemoor and the network of walking and cycling routes that make up the traffic-free Tarka Trail. This property offers comfortable and homely accommodation for four in a lovely riverside location accessed via ether the front door from a narrow path or to the rear via Iris Cottage s garden via 6 steps. The heart of the accommodation is the welcoming lounge with its imposing original fireplace which now houses the cosy woodburner attractive Welsh dresser comfortable seating and a TV. Leading off from the lounge is a large conservatory which gives guests the perfect place to enjoy the views over the surrounding Yeo Valley with plentiful seating on both comfy chairs and a dining table. The property s contemporary kitchen/diner offers a second dining table which seats four as well as an oven hob microwave fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a convenient ground-floor WC. Upstairs there are two light and airy double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC. Outside the property has an enclosed garden which benefits from a raised patio area with seating and BBQ. Beyond the garden there is riverside access with private fishing and shared use of a quaint hideaway lodge. It may even be possible to camp at an additional charge and by arrangement directly with the property s owner. There is also off-road parking provided.
