Tucked away along a quiet country lane with views over unspoilt countryside and the River Camel with direct access to The Camel Trail great for walking and cycling. Enjoy the beautiful private nature trail on the estate and 1.5 mile stretch of the River Camel home to otters deer foxes badgers and diverse bird and aquatic life along with some of the best sea trout and salmon fishing in Cornwall. Opposite the estate is the award winning Camel Vineyard. A short car journey will take you to both coasts well worth a visit are the sandy beaches of Polzeath Harlyn and Trevone and the quaint villages of Fowey Port Isaac Tintagel and Boscastle. Other attractions include the Eden Project Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway Cornwall s Crealy Great Adventure Park and the National Trust Lanhydrock House to name but a few. Fishing: Salmon and Sea Trout river fishing (must be booked in advance direct with the owner at a small charge) private woodland ponds are free of charge. Outside: guests are welcome to explore the 40 acre woodland estate and each property has its own private garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen and logs included. Wi-Fi available. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome however please note that dogs are not permitted in the bedrooms must be kept on leads within the shared grounds and they must not go in the river. Additional info: guests are only permitted to play around the river in the designated areas to prevent disturbance to migratory fish. Location: beaches 10 miles pub and shops 2 miles. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this delightful and spacious south wing of the main house with stunning views over the river and across to the famous Camel Valley Vineyards offers THREE bedrooms: on the first-floor 1 king-size master bedroom with TV/DVD boasting a lovely window seat with beautiful views down to the river en-suite with shower over bath and WC. 1 twin bedroom with TV/DVD en-suite with shower over bath and WC. Both of the bedrooms on the first-floor enjoy far reaching views across the orchard garden and valley. On the ground-floor 1 twin bedroom and adjacent bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with wood burner TV DVD iPod dock and DAB radio. Dining area with seating for 6. Kitchen area: fully equipped with electric oven hob microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Utility room: with washing machine. Outside: private enclosed garden with BBQ and picnic bench for warmer evenings and a swing-set for the children. Amenities: central heating and electric included. 2 night storage heaters (in the hall and kitchen).
