This property is located on the picturesque Hartland Peninsula just half a mile from the pebble beach at Hartland Quay where there is an interesting smugglers museum and a well regarded clifftop restaurant. For those who enjoy scenic walks the South West Coast Path runs across the cliffs here and on towards Bude fifteen miles to the south or the village of Clovelly ten miles to the north east. Beach lovers will not want to miss out on a visit to Westward Ho! a seaside town with an impressive two mile wide sandy beach perfect for families and surfers alike. Other places of interest in the area include the harbour town of Bideford The Milky Way and the heritage village of Upper Clovelly. When guests arrive at this charming period property they are able to relax and make themselves at home in the welcoming lounge where attractive original features such as the beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace give the room a wonderful cosy atmosphere and sense of history. The fireplace now houses a wonderfully warming woodburner perfect for cosying up on cooler nights and perhaps enjoying a film on the TV and DVD. Next to the lounge guests will find a snug room which makes a great little den space for children. The farmhouse style kitchen/diner has a large dining table at one end of the room which is excellent for enjoying a long relaxed lunch or indeed the delicious cake which the thoughtful owners provide for guests on arrival whilst at the other end of the room the kitchen area is equipped with an electric Rangemaster oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. A handy utility room located off the kitchen is a convenient place to store muddy boots and wet coats. One of the property s bedrooms a king-size room is also located on the ground floor as is the first of two bathrooms which offers a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms the main one of these being a king-size master bedroom which benefits from an en-suite shower and separate WC. The two remaining bedrooms are both pretty twin rooms whilst the remaining bathroom has a bath with handheld shower and WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden to the rear of the property which has an idyllic cottagey feel to it and offers a BBQ table and chairs. There is parking provided for two cars.
