About the property

This property makes a wonderful base from which to enjoy a relaxing break in North Devon. For those who are looking for a quiet restful break then the village offers everything you will need right on the doorstep with a range of eateries independent shops and a working fishing quay which makes a great place for a stroll whilst watching the boats come and go. In the summer months a ferry runs across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow where there are yet more places to eat a number of craft workshops a yacht club and a beach. Why not make the trip on a sunny evening and enjoy a pint in one of Instow s pubs? This barn conversion property is accessed via the front door turning left you enter into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This welcoming room has wooden floors throughout exposed beams and an eye-catching stone fireplace which houses the warming wood burner. At one end of the room there is comfortable seating from which guests can enjoy the TV/DVD and hi-fi. At the other end of the room a dining table separates the lounge area from the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and washing machine. The bedroom is again a delightfully spacious room with a king-size bed exposed beams and its own TV. The property s bathroom offers a bath separate shower and WC. Outside there is a private raised decked patio to the rear of the property which has garden furniture and offers views across the village to the river beyond. There is one private gated parking space provided whilst there is additional parking available either at the roadside or in nearby public car parks.
