About the property

This apartment is located just a short walk from the harbourside in Ilfracombe a well-appointed seaside town which has much to offer visitors. The attractive Tunnels Beaches are as the name suggests a collection of beaches which are accessed through hand-carved tunnels. There is also a tidal pool here as well as a cliffside cafe so visitors really can make a day of it. There is an interesting aquarium in the town as well as a range of shops and restaurants whilst the town s harbour is well-worth a visit as the imposing statue of Verity dominates the scene. Other attractions in the surrounding area include Watermouth Castle Combe Martin Wildlife Park and the wonderful beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton Sands. A slate walkway leads up to the front door of this apartment and once inside steep cottage-style stairs lead to the second-floor accommodation. The kitchen is located on this floor and is equipped with everything that guests will need to make themselves immediately at home including a gas oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a breakfast bar in this room with seating however guests may prefer to use the adjacent dining room which is a delightful light-filled space with a dining table seating six. The property s two bedrooms are also on this floor the first of which is a double room whilst the second room has two single beds. The contemporary bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. A steep staircase leads to the upper floor where the lounge is located. This comfortable and cosy room is in the eaves of the building and as such has sloping ceilings and limited head-height. Here guests can relax with the TV and hi-fi whilst a snug room just next door has a good supply of games and books which may be of particular interest to younger guests. Outside there is pleasant roof terrace where the owners have provided garden furniture making it a perfect spot from which to enjoy the sea views. Guests should be aware that the terrace is accessed via steep steps upon which care must be taken. There is a shed available that guests can use to store outdoor equipment surf boards and so on. There is no parking attached to the house but there are local public car parks located a short walk away.
