Casa Migliaca is near the northern coast of Sicily, a few kilometers from Cefalù, between the Nebrodi Mountains and Madonie.
The house is removed on a hill facing the sea, on the side of the Tusa river valley. The panorama extends between the Nebrodi Mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea. The house was built in the seventeenth century. Originally it was an oil mill. In the early 90s, the property was renovated to accommodate tourists, providing a simple but friendly hospitality. A Casa Migliaca, lifestyle is informal: the evening, dinner is collective. The guests are gathered around a large round table which is in reality the ancient olive press. In the morning, breakfast is free, with no specific timetable. Each uses in ancient kitchen, first floor. The rooms in the upper part of the house still have period furniture. In those of the lower floor are the symbols of the ancient features of the house: the buried jar, the small press and in the loft chestnut wood. All rooms are spacious. To comply with the volumes and the original architecture, the bathrooms are not very big but very functional. The main building is in the center of an agricultural structure consisting of a 12-hectare garden, olive and citrus crops.
