Villas (Penthouse Edinburgh ') in the South-East of Andalusia, Spain with panoramic views of the Mediterranean, golf course, marina, mountains of the Alpujarras and the center of the village Almerimar.

Our large apartment (on 2 floors above the building) is located in Almerimar, 35 km west of Almeria city and next to the Mediterranean. There are two terraces with panoramic views of the golf course, the sea and the marina of Almerimar. The holiday home is situated in a calm area of ​​the village just above the golf course. (27 holes). The house has 3 bedrooms, one with double bed and 2 with 2 single beds. The residence has a large swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful lawn for sunbathing. The beach is within walking distance of only twenty minutes. The duplex is located in the upper part of the village, giving it a unique view of Almerimar and its surroundings. Balconies or terraces overlook the golf, the beach, the village center, marina and the mountains (Las Alpujarras, Sierra Nevada).

Description of the area of ​​Almerimar:

The village of Almerimar is located on the Mediterranean. The region 'Costa de Almeria has a moderate climate throughout the year. This means that there very little rain, a record Europpe of sunny hours per year. Therefore Almerimar is perfect for a stay in winter and summer. This village has much to offer, such as a golf course 27 holes, a marine nature reserve, beaches and near the mountains 'Las Alpujarras'. There to pubs, restaurants and bars in the center. Villages like El Ejido 'and' Roquetas del Mar 'are located directly next to Almerimar. City Almeria can be reached in 30 minutes by car, the city of Granada and Malaga after 90 minutes after 120 minutes. The only European Tabernas Desert is an hour and the nature reserve 'Cabo de Gata is also one hour by car. The Almeria Airport (LEI) and 'Park Mini-Hollywood' are only 40 minutes from Almerimar !!!

Definitely a Penthouse with a view!

We have just returned from a most enjoyable holiday. We spent 3 weeks in this lovely duplex property it was so comfortable we would love to have stayed longer. We have already booked for next year! The property is light and airy and has everything you need including a lift - great for getting those heavy suitcases up to the top floor. The communal areas are very clean and there is plenty of parking. There are two large balconies on both floors accessed from the dining room/living room and from both bedrooms, with large windows to take in the amazing views across the golf course and out towards the glistening sea. There is also a huge swimming pool, open during the summer months. Edwin looks after the property and greeted us when we arrived. He lives with his family on the same complex and is on hand when needed, but always discreet. He speaks many languages and is a lovely man.

Almerimar is the perfect place for us, we found it very clean and well looked after. Numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from along with supermarkets in and around the area. There is a flat promenade along the coast, which goes as far as they eye can see in both directions, dotted with cafes and restaurants along the way. Perfect for either a stroll or brisk walk to keep fit! Cycles may be hired along with equipment for windsurfing, bodyboarding etc. There is a good sized harbour with many beautiful boats surrounded by cafes/restaurants to sit and relax and take in the view.

Almeria is a twenty five minute drive away. It has a huge Port, Castle and lovely long walkways along the beach and many beautiful shops, restaurants and cafes. Well worth a visit.
