Welcome to our unique and comfortable studio apartment in the heart of Knightsbridge, the perfect vacation rental for a couple, or small family. It is set within an architecturally stunning period building, within walking distance from the splendid Hyde Park and the exclusive Harrods department store. Knightsbridge vacation rentals really don't get more affordable, or better located than this. Over the years this has proven to be one of Ivy Lettings' most popular holiday apartments.
Living & Eating
You will find a compact and pleasant living area, furnished with relaxing armchairs to sink into after a day of sightseeing throughout the capital. There is an adjoining fully-equipped kitchen, complete with all the usual appliances.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Find one double bed (4.5ft wide) located on an elevated mezzanine sleeping area within the main living area. An additional trundle bed, pulls out to form 2 single beds, and is also located in the living area. There is a family bathroom with a toilet, basin and bath with shower (over bath).
Access & Layout
This flat is located on the lower ground floor, with one flight of external stairs to access the apartment. Please note the wooden ladder to access the double bed.
On Your Doorstep
When you are ready to venture out, you'll find yourself torn between Kensington and the Museums on one side and the delights of Knightsbridge on the other. With excellent links into other parts of London, from South Kensington or Knightsbridge tube stations, this charming London vacation rental offers a fantastic base for any London experience. A convenience store for general groceries and an ATM is situated only a minute's walk from the home. Take a stroll through Hyde Park and stop for a picnic under one of its magnificent oak trees, watch the roller-bladers slalom through some cones, or rent a rowing boat and test your speed on the magnificent Serpentine. With such a collection of Museums within arm’s reach you are bound to go home smarter than you came! While away the hours learning about the times when dinosaurs ruled the Earth in the Natural history Museum or check out the latest on Art and Design as you wander through the Victoria and Albert. When you’re ready to eat you are in a food-tasters dream; whether you’re in the mood for French, Italian, Argentinian or maybe just traditional English Pub food you’ll find what you are looking for in Kensington within easy distance of Ennismore Gardens.

We are Ivy Lettings, small letting agency with a big reputation. Established in 2009, our goal was to accommodate short stay visitors to London in a portfolio of London homes, which we personally selected for their warmth and character. The thinking was very simple: many lovely London homes lie vacant for much of the year, which should be used by discerning travellers tired of charmless and overpriced hotels. We seem to have struck a chord: to date we have accommodated several thousand guests and we're growing apace. Today our tenant base comprises tourists, business travellers and native Londoners who need short term accommodation for whatever reason.
I was traveling alone to London on this trip with the goal of seeing the great museums of London. This little cozy flat was perfectly located and worked very well for my trip. The little kitchen included everything I needed to make breakfasts and dinners at home after a long day of sightseeing and the large tub made it possible to have a good muscle soak. It is quiet, despite it's central location.
The South Kensington tube station is a short walk away, as are the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. If you need a walk in some open space, expansive and beautiful Hyde Park is two blocks north.
Two things I learned about this flat once I got there:
1. It has laundry facilities, which if I'd realized that before I went I would have been able to pack a bit less.
2. The kitchen has under-cabinet lighting - the switch is over in the far corner by the stove.
Ivy Lettings was super-professional and responsive during my stay and they took care of my every need without being intrusive. I was so happy with them. As someone traveling alone it was great to know they were there for me when I needed them. I am very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend this flat.
We enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for two adult and a child. The wifi worked well, the main room and bathroom were very nice. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. The location is fantastic! Close to everything but very quiet :)
The best thing about this apartment is its location. Easy walking to Hyde park and many other places you will want to go. We only rode the bus a couple of times.
The apartment is small, and there were three ladies, so we were a bit cramped. But we did manage the 5 days we were there. The apartment is clean and equipped well. The manager was very pleasant.
This property is nestled in a tranquil and well-to-do area that lends itself to privacy and quiet. The door to the building is a keyed entry for added security. It is a walk away from Harrods, The V&A, Hyde Park, Brompton Oratory, and two Underground Stations, not to mention multiple bus stops. Inside, the bright apartment is serene, small and cozy (but not cramped)- plenty of room for 2 people to relax after a busy day in London. It is clean and well maintained, and stocked with all that is needed to prepare a meal or snack in the petite kitchen. The loft bed and pull out bed are comfortable and linens are plentiful. The bathroom is spacious and has plenty of hot water for a shower or bath. The apartment guide suggested a small store in the near-by college campus, but there is also a better stocked Sainsbury's Local toward Harrod's (Americans- look for eggs on the shelf, haha). There is a washer/dryer unit that washed great but took a little long to dry. Customer service was fantastic and friendly. Booking the flat was painless and any questions we had about it or London were answered quickly via email (Thanks Alyce!). Our flight came in earlier than check-in time, but we were told we could drop our bags off at the flat and come back when it was ready. When we got there, the housekeeper was there with keys in hand and told us we didn't have to leave. That was a nice gesture after traveling for 12 hours overnight! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone not adverse to a loft bed. If you are looking for something different to do in London besides the usual sites, we really enjoyed afternoon tea at Sketch in Mayfair, and The Borough (food) Market, including Monmouth Coffeehouse. You could also grab some bubble tea at Bubbleology in nearby South Kensington, or other locations around London.
Knightsbridge’s main draw is the shopping – it is the site of London’s most famous store and rich man’s playground, Harrods, which most visitors sensibly enjoy more as an attraction than a retailer. Any committed shopper will enjoy browsing the stores (or perhaps just store windows) of the area's international fashion houses or London-based designers. These shops prey on Knightsbridge’s wealthy and fashionable sets, and reflect the fact that it is one of London’s most desirable locales. Architecturally, the same residential features unite Knightsbridge and Belgravia – broad leafy streets, stucco squares, cobbled pastel mews, and an aristocratic feel exuded by large townhouses flanked by wide-set columns. In the same vein, centrally located but infinitely more affordable, sits Pimlico. The area is perfectly situated to reach central London, enjoying beautiful views across the river to Battersea and almost personal access to Buckingham Palace and Westminster.
