Upon entering Sunnyhurst, there is a good sized porch.
From the porch, you enter the lounge which is a substantial 24 metre square modern living room. There are two comfortable, large sofas, one leather and one corner sofa which can easily accommodate eight people. In addition, there is a wall mounted 34 inch Sony tv with freeview and Sony dvd player. A storage cupboard under the stairs provides a small number of dvds, toys and all aged family games.
From the living room, there is a door into the large kitchen diner. The extendable oak kitchen table can easily seat 8 people, with 2 long oak benches and 2 chairs. (in addition there is a large Amercian fridge freezer and range cooker, with gas hobs and electric fan oven; a range of glassware, cutlery and Denby crockery is stored in the many stylish curved kitchen units). A small quantity of consumables will be provided to get you started such as tea, coffee, oil, spices, as well as the Welcome pack with some locally sourced products.
From the kitchen, are sliding patio doors that lead into the garden.
From the living room, there is a door into our 'North Wing' where the downstairs bedrooms are located either side of the family bathroom.
To the front of the house, there is a double bedroom with a modern en suite shower and toilet. A chest of drawers and tall boy offers good storage space.
Facing the garden at the back is the twin bedroom, with white modern bunk beds and large wardrobes. This room receives sunshine throughout the day and has a blackout blind as well as curtains.
From the lounge, stairs lead upstairs where the landing separates the two bedrooms.
The Master bedroom receives light from three velux windows, each with integral blackout blinds. Mahogany King size bed with Egyptian cotton linen, feather duvet and large wardrobes. Furthermore, there is a wrought iron towel rail and long mirror. The en suite room is newly fitted and has a powerful shower and lovely views!
On the other side of the landing is the remaining bedroom with en suite toilet and sink, hosting two velux windows. There is a chest of drawers and small wardrobe with hanging space to store your belongings.
The rear garden has a large patio area for enjoying breakfast outdoors or relaxing over a bbq in the warm Cornish sunshine. New in Autumn 2017 a top of the range 6 person hot tub is being installed, with 50 adjustable jets and programme cycles to enjoy, it is also self cleaning and filters the water every 15 minutes. Our artificial grass lawn is great for children playing or for adults to simply enjoy relaxing on, surrounded by established shrubs and hedges. Two small gates mean this main garden area can be enclosed and safe for small children. This detached house can be accessed all the way around and there are two further gates meaning you can section off the back garden from the front, should you wish to.
Our safe and substantial driveway offers plenty of parking, handy for those planning on bring a boat/kayakes/surf boards/motorhome etc. It also doubles as a play area too for kids of all ages, with secure gates from the road.
Our nearest and favourite beach is Perran Sands in Perranuthnoe- walkable in 20 minutes- offering beautiful golden sands, great rock pooling and climbing opportunities, wonderful swimming and surfing conditions (which is lifeguarded) as well as a small cafe. There are also public toilets and parking facilities for a small daily price.
Our other favourite beaches are Praa Sands, Porthcurno, Sennen, Godrevy and Poldhu . Toilets and parking facilities available.
St Michael's Mount- world famous National Trust property just a mile away
Minack theatre- outdoor theatre built into the cliff face neighbouring Porthcurno beach and Telegraph museum
Eden project - 45min drive
Flambards- family friendly theme park, with museum and rides. Usually, free returns within the week is offered and tickets can be purchased with your Tesco vouchers.
National Trust gardens-
St Ives - we think the best way to see this stunning harbour is on the train from St Erth. This not only avoids the hassles of parking but the views from the train of the Hayle estuary and stunning beaches of Porthminster and St Ives are truly breathtaking.
Fishing harbours -
Mousehole- quaint and beautiful, with great cafes (Whole Foods deli) and quality restaurants (The Old Coastguard, The Cornish Range) Why not visit Newlyn harbour on the way, the Tolcarne Inn offers a great seafood menu.
Porthleven- famous for its photographs of the storms of February 2014 when the waves pounded this traditional Cornish fishing harbour, this is a must see village. Unique local shops and fantastic restaurants (Kota Kai serves great food and very family friendly) and pubs, all with a great view of the ocean.
