This is a new 1 bedroom Apartment, registered as an Alojamento local residence, license number 13112AL.

It has 1 bedroom with a super-king size bed which can be tuned into 2 singles if you prefer. We ask that you confirm this at he time of booking. The bedroom is equipped with a dressing table, mirror, hairdryer and there is a double wardrobe with safe.

The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet and bidet.

The lounge/dining room is spacious and comfortable with a sofa bed and a cosy reading area with 2 lounge chairs. The dining table seats 4. There is a TV with cable TV and fast, free Wi-Fi.

Doors from the sitting room lead onto a sunny patio area which has a table and 2 chairs.

The separate kitchen is large and well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, Iron, ironing board, clothes maid, halogen hob, fan oven, microwave, electric griddle, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, juicer not forgetting plentiful crockery, glassware and cutlery.

There is air-conditioning in both the bedroom and the sitting room which is activated with a fob on the keys, we ask that you not remove the fob.

There is a secure underground garage with a dedicated parking space. Entrance is through the use of a remote which if lost will cost Euros 50 for a replacement.

The complex itself is clean and well maintained and you have access to the outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, gym, children's play area and grounds.

We are a no smoking apartment and no pets are allowed.

The complex is in a perfect spot to enjoy Lagos and it's amenities. Lagos town with it's shops, restaurants and bars is a pleasant 15 minute walk and there are 2 beaches within a 20 minute walk. The main beach, Meia Praia is a long, wide sweep of sand which never feels crowded even in August and the town beach, Batata beach, which is smaller and more sheltered. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away and small cafes and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Cafe Fresco sits on the corner of the complex and is open in the daytime and does a wide range of foods from breakfasts, sandwiches, main meals, juices and cake. The Marina is close by and has plenty of places to sit and watch the world go by.

If you wish to travel further the bus station is 5 minutes away and from there you can get to more local beaches, other towns along the Algarve, Lisbon and even into Spain. The train station is slightly further at about 10 minutes away again with great links along the Algarve and north to Lisbon.

About Julia Brown

Cindy and her husband retired to Aljezur Portugal from England UK in May 2007 we really love it out here we feel the climate is so much better for us.We have now moved from Aljezur and living in Lagos on opposite side of the marina to this apartment.

I had lots of hobbies but had to give them up due to a bad back resulting in surgery many years ago and was very limited with my mobility. I like to Dine out which is more affordable here, Socialise and meet people. We bought our apartment in Lagos last year as an investment and to use ourselves in the winter months.My husband is a fisherman and has discovered he can now walk to the nearest fishing location and I get to walk to Marina and shopping.

Why Julia Brown chose Falfeira

We chose this property because it was new and close to all the main amenities Marina,Town Centre, Bus station,Train Station, Supermarkets, Restaurants, cafes and local residents. It is so central to all amenities. and a bonus Indoor and Outdoor Pool, Gym and Jacuzzi.

We love Lagos and have now moved here permanently, on the other side of the River. There is just something about Lagos, maybe it s the Marina or restaurants all within walking distance or the beautiful beach of Meia Praia also not as busy as the other resorts here in the Algarve.

What makes this apartment unique

We fell in love with this apartment because of the facilities it has to offer, the location could not be better to get around without having to drive of course if you prefer to hire a car and explore the countryside it is ideally located for the Alentejo and Algarve , Spain is only a 2 hour drive away.

2 Local supermarkets Pingo Doce 2 mins walk and Lidl 5 mins walk.

I can also arrange private transfer from Faro Airport lower price than anyone else.

There are so many modes of transport to get around, Train from Lagos to Portimao you have the old town and Aqua shopping centre. Water Taxi to Alvor, a small tourist train from the marina takes you all round Lagos including Meia Praia, Donna Ana,Porto Do Mos.

Amazing holiday

The apartment complex is really up to date and modern, we loved how clean it was. We couldn’t ask for much more in our apartment as it had everything you could possibly need and more. Hygiene ways it was spotless. We just loved it, it made our holiday even more special and hope to be back very soon in the near future.

A lovely apartment in an ideal location.

We stayed her from 25th September - 5th October. The apartment was very roomy with leather seating, television and free air conditioning. It was nicely decorated with a dining table 4 chairs and a break off seating area. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't really used the cooking facilities as we preferred to eat out. The washer was great too with no dirty washing to bring home and there was a small table with 2 chairs. The bedroom was nice, with a very comfortable large bed and very good soft pillows. There is a dressing table and hairdryer, which actually dries your hair. The bathroom is spacious with a Jacuzzi bath and shower within the bath. The apartment is in an ideal position with just a 5 minute walk to the marina. There is your own underground parking space which is accessed by a remote fob to open the garage door. I do recommend you try the café on the corner of the building, if you like yogurt and fruit this is the place to go. It is 4.50 euros for a bowl of yogurt and it is surrounded by every fruit you can think of and it was huge. Julia the lady who came to meet us was lovely a really bubbly lady who was very informative and gave us a tour of the pool and amenities. I found the only drawback to the apartment was the balcony, as you are on the ground floor level with the outside parking, however you do get the sun on the balcony from about 1pm in the afternoon, which is great to sit and chill in the sun before getting ready for your evening meal. We found the apartments to be really quiet at night, with no boy racers or noisy rowdy drunken people which is perfect. Thank you Julia for your help and being so pleasant to us on arrival. Remember next time TEA TOWELS. LOL

This was our first stay in the town of Lagos, though we have visited many times before while staying elsewhere in the Western Algarve. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is located in a modern 'condominium' to the North of the old town of Lagos. The area is quiet and there are cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. It is an easy (5min) walk into the heart of the old town. The popular Marina area is a similar distance. With pool/gym facilities and parking on-site the apartment is an ideal base and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Un super emplacement pour des vacances idéales

Un super accueil (Sonia est très sympa et nous avons découvert du vin portugais pour nous dans la cuisine - une belle attention), des prestations de qualité (le lit est très bon, il y a un lave vaisselle et un lave linge - la piscine est top) et un emplacement idéal ( en plein centre à proximité de la marina - tout peut se faire à pied) font de cet appartement une très bonne affaire pour passer de​ belles vacances à Lagos. Merci et à bientôt peut-être.
