We loved staying at this house in the Albaicín! Beatriz always answered my questions immediately and the home was tidy and clean. Great view! Lovely!! Quiet. Open your eyes at night and see the Alhambra lit up right in front of you.
The location and view are the best in Granada! The house is well equipped, comfortable and very nice! The best part is the huge terrace with a gorgeous view of the Alhambra, and the mountains. Beatriz was very helpful, good directions and communication was easy. I highly recommend this place.
The view of Alhambra from the roof deck is the best part and worth the rental alone. The apartment is very nice but old and some quirkiness is to be expected. Beds are comfortable and everything was very clean and well equipped. The kitchen is small but fine for breakfast or light meals. The owner is lovely and very helpful and responsive. While we loved the old world charm, the location is not for the faint hearted. You must walk up/down stone steps to access the apartment, there is no vehicle access to the door. The neighborhood is steep and requires walking many stairs for restaurants or services. Buses and taxis were abundant. We loved the experience and would recommend it.
Prior to arriving, Beatriz was very responsive and answered all of my many questions. She's very organized.
The view from the terrace is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. There are snow capped mountains in the vista, next to the Alhambra.
The neighborhood is very cool and it's easy to imagine the Moors living there 1300 years ago. The streets are very narrow, winding and full charm. We had fun exploring and encountering a great bakery that we visited daily as well as restaurants. To get other areas Granada, there is the C1 bus that seemed to show up everywhere in the city. It comes by the apartment every 8-10 minutes, very convenient. Taxi's also go by frequently, it's very easy to flag one down.
The kitchen would be too small to cook elaborate meals, however is entirely fine for breakfast, light supper, etc. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was fine. You can save on bringing clothes by doing a load of laundry there. Beatriz has a washing machine in the bathroom and a drying rack.
Our family of four had a great 3-night stay at Beatriz's place. Beatriz was communicative throughout. She brought us a welcome platter of Spanish candies and treats which my husband, two young kids and I appreciated after a long travelling day. The apartment is well-equipped and the views from the outdoor patio, living room and bedrooms are incredible. When we go back to Granada, we won't hesitate to stay here again.
A lovingly, tastefully maintained apartment directly in sight of a magnificent, million dollar view of the Alhambra. No need to climb to other crowded viewpoints to see this view, plus Beatriz is a superb host. She met us on our arrival and stayed to ensure all information was covered. The place is clean, beautifully decorated and a great location. Bed was comfy and good shower pressure. If you can book this, just do it!
