Westbourne Terrace is the perfect London vacation rental. With its classic English architecture, private terrace, easy transport links and at just a 10 minute walk from one of the capital’s best loved green spaces Hyde Park. Ideally suited for couples and groups, this cosy flat will immediately feel like a home from home.
Living & Eating
An open plan living and dining room welcomes you, with floor to ceiling windows letting in plenty of light. Relax in one of the many comfortable sofas or armchairs with a book from the extensive collection in the hallway.
A fully equipped kitchen and dark-wooden, circular dining table for four, gives you the option of staying in and whipping yourself up a home-cooked meal.
The private terrace, complete with table and chairs, is the perfect spot for relaxing outdoors and soaking up the sunshine (when the weather permits it!) .
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The two bedrooms are set at the back of the house. The large master bedroom is complete with a UK king size bed (5ft wide), high ceilings and a bay window. A second bedroom with UK double bed (4.5ft wide) overlooks the terrace and comes with an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The family bathroom is equipped with a shower-over-bath, toilet and basin.

This property is located on the ground floor. There are a few steps up to the main building, with the flat itself all one level.

Westbourne Terrace is situated within enviable distance of many of London's desirable spots. Paddington Station is very close, which allows for easy and quick access to, from and around London by both train and tube.

Ivy Lettings agency was easy and pleasant to work with. The property where we stayed in London was lovely, clean, cozy yet spacious, and in a great location. After a long flight we were able to walk the 3 blocks from the underground to the rental, where we were greeted by a friendly and helpful team member who told us all we needed to know about the property, gave us the keys, made sure all of our questions were answered, and then left us to relax and enjoy the space. The location was conveniently close to several stores and restaurants as well as all of the amazing rich historical sites London is famous for. The building was beautiful and maintained with class and care. We would definitely use this agency again.
The enquiry process with Ivy Lettings was professional, easy and good. Alice was just absolutely wonderful and answered the myriad of email questions with patience and good humour. Nothing was too much trouble and no question too trivial.
Westbourne Terrace is as it is depicted in the photos. It was clean, warm, really quite comfortable and in a fabulous location!! It is a little cluttered, but that just seemed to make it more eclectic and quirky rather than detract at all. It has character. There are a lot of the owners ‘bits and bobs’ around, but then you are holidaying in someone else’s home, not a generic hotel room. A small fan for the bedrooms would be good, as the windows cannot be opened.
Westbourne Terrace is close to Hyde Park, to walk and cycle, and really close to Paddington Station and bus stops. You can even walk to the City or Portobello Road. There are lots of restaurants and pubs around the area. The Pride of Paddington is a beauty, as is Bizarro Italian Restaurant. The location is brilliant!!
A fabulous two weeks in London with good accommodation. Would highly and honestly recommend this property and Ivy Letting to friends, family and anyone else travelling to London. Would undoubtedly deal with Ivy Lettings again.
Lovely, comfortable flat. Decor made it feel like home. Convenient location. Wonderful French market (Super Marche) up the street . Madrid nearby has good Chinese food. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water.
First off, I must compliment Ivy Lettings on their excellent work. All of the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and they bent over backward to deal with our problems.
Westbourne Terrace provides a street level apartment that is a few block walk to Paddington Station and 10 minutes to Hyde Park. It is a 40 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. It is on the Big Bus hop-on, hop off bus route and we used this for transportation into London. The livingroom is spacious with very high ceilings, the kitchen is a little cramped. We found the master bedroom the most inviting place to spend time as it is brightly lit from the large window. We also appreciated the umbrellas hanging in the hallway, though only one actually worked well. What we really did not like was how cluttered it is with so many of the owners' personal items around. It has a very used feel to it and would benefit significantly from an update of carpets. We found it overly warm especially at night and would have enjoyed the use of a fan as the bedroom window could not be opened.
We very much enjoyed our one week stay in an apartment at Westbourne Terrace arranged by Ivy Holdings. It was extremely comfortably furnished with a very well-equipped kitchen together with other useful electrical appliances. We also appreciated the fact that manuals had been made available for any electrical equipment as sometimes we were not familiar with the brands.
Westbourne Terrace is very near good public transport - underground, rail and a number of different bus routes. This made it easy to reach the West End shops, theatres and a large number of London tourist attractions.
We had only one minor criticism of the apartment in that the bedroom window in the double bedroom did not open which meant that the nights were very hot.
The processes that Ivy Holdings had put in place to enable us to get into the house worked well and we had no problems.
Altogether it was an extremely comfortable week's stay..
Ivy Lettings were really awesome and we will definitely book with them again (they have lots of lovely London properties on their books) - everyone was so friendly and helpful! We found this particular property very charming and cosy, and the location was brilliant - less than 5 minutes from Paddington station and less than 5 minutes to Hyde Park. We were there on a tourist trip and it really suited our needs for being able to have quick access to the whole city.
Kensington Gardens and Palace are a 10-15 minute walk away, with Hyde Park only a five minute stroll. Kensington High Street, a shopping hub, is nearby, as is South Kensington which boasts the Victoria and Albert Museum, Science Museum and Natural History Museum at a 30 minute walk through Hyde Park.
Perhaps you'll spend the day exploring the eclectic and bustling Portobello Road, which is five minutes away in Notting Hill. Originally a lane leading to Portobello Farm, its sides now burst at the seams with antiques, vintage fashion stores and bakeries.
