In the heart of Lanai City awaits your next tropical vacation destination, Mauka Hale. Mauka Hale is a fully remodeled Hawaiian style plantation home that can comfortably sleep up to a maximum of four guests (including children). From the front door you are just 2 blocks away from the expansive Dole park, city restaurants, the coffee shop, a world class golf course, horse back riding, and much more. Or for those of you just needing some rest and relaxation just sit back and enjoy some of the fresh tropical fruit growing on the property.
Mauka Hale is a two bedroom, one and a half bath plantation style home. Though remodeled the home has maintained its original charm and Hawaiian style. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, ample storage space for clothes, and a great view of the landscaped backyard. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a view of the charming front Lanai. The family room has a flat screen TV and DVD player, an inviting couch with chaise, and French doors that lead you to the back deck. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all your cooking needs.

In compliance with Maui County rules we can only allow a maximum of 4 guests at a time since this is a two bedroom house, and out of respect to our neighbors.
As required by Maui County rules and regulations, Quiet Hours: 9:00 pm - 8:00 am. NO AMPLIFIED SOUND AT ALL TIMES.
Designated parking is provided off-street.

We have a four-night minimum stay (seven-night minimum stay is required on all major holidays and holiday weekends throughout the year, including special event weekends).
A copy of the Mauka Hale house/property rules and regulations agreement must be completed, signed and received with payment prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will not be made for cancellations or early departures.
Check-in time is 4:00PM (unless arranged otherwise); Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the island feel to the home and it was located near all the shops that were in walking distance. Loved the back porch which was very spacious and a nice place to enjoy the beautiful weather and tropical breeze.
It was very clean and well-maintained. Would highly recommend this place!
This is a small house with two queen beds (one in a separate nook and one in a separate bedroom) and has everything (full kitchen, towels, bedding etc). The washer dryer and free internet come in very handy. Very tastefully updated and renovated old plantation home. 5 minutes walk to the town square where there are restaurants, two supermarkets, coffee etc. Also there is a great free community pool walking distance away, where you can swim and borrow balls for the basketball courts and soccer/football fields. There are also tennis courts. Since we have two teenagers this was nice. Also there are two playgrounds for smaller kids. About 20 minutes drive from the beach. However you need to rent a car (expensive) or take a taxi shuttle 10 dollar a person each ride. It is very quiet, there are no traffic lights and a few roads on the island. Nice to spend a few days to be away from it all and experience a small community with very friendly people. You can fly in from Honolulu or take the boat from Maui.
We recently stayed at this lovely vacation rental for 7 nights and were thrilled with it. First, the pictures do not do it justice. This plantation home is calming, serene, very well stocked, and so much more. It's clean, in good repair, and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfortable, there are an abundance of pillows, and it's quiet. The trade wind breezes on the back deck are blissful! At night when you look up the sky is filled with an amazing view of the stars. It's indescribable.
I can't say enough positive things about this home, Lanai City, and the locals! We loved every second of our trip. We managed to easily fill our days exploring the island. It was hard to leave!
Our group stayed for five nights at the property and really enjoyed our stay. The property is clean, comfortable and well maintained. It has all the necessary amenities. I can highly recommend the property and will book it again the next time we are on Lanai.

We were very happy to be staying in town in such a lovely home. Great bed, clean newly tiled shower, well supplied with equipment in the kitchen. It appeared to have been recently remodeled and it was done well. Nice gardens, too. We enjoyed supporting the local businesses as opposed to the resorts on Lanai. There were plenty of places to eat ( Blue Ginger Cafe, Pele's Other Garden, and Lanai City Hotel Grille) and the markets were close by and well stocked. We depended on the shuttle for the first three days and it worked out great. We went diving with Trilogy in the Cathedrals - awesome! The visit to the Cultural Center was extremely informative - not to be missed. We rented a jeep on our last day to tour the island on our own. We used Lanai Jeep Rental instead of Dollar and were very happy with great service from John. So glad we stayed four nights here.
