"Three Award Winning Lodges"
About Russell Gillespie
My family and I fell in love with these Lodges when we first came to stay here in May 2014. Little did we know that such a holiday would turn into such a wonderful life changing experience - that we would end up taking over this established business from the previous owners and continue in their footsteps, all in under a year! As a family we have always loved the idea of getting away to an idyllic retreat by a lake in the mountains, and we found it here. We look forward to welcoming you to our Lodges, and hope you enjoy the experience just as much as we do! "Glengoulandie Lodges On The Waterfront"
Russell Gillespie purchased this Chalet in 2014
What makes this Chalet unique
Set in the tranquil and picturesque Highland Perthshire countryside, between Aberfeldy and Kinloch Rannoch, the Lodges are a perfect place to relax and enjoy the ever changing scenery, abundant wildlife from your sitting room window. The light is so special with colourful rainbows by day and light night summer skies. Dramatic winter days and evenings. A perfect place to just be. For outdoor enthusiasts there are numerous activities nearby.

This well maintained lodge was exactly as described and photographed. Russell and Sandy were always on hand ready to give help or advice. The loch and wild-life outside our windows were a constant source of pleasure and interest. We would highly recommend the lodge for anyone wishing a peaceful and comfortable break in a most delightful setting.

The lodge was in a beautiful setting. On arrival the lodge was immaculately clean ,and warm.
We stayed at this lodge 2 yrs ago and always planned to go back. The decor and cleanliness was excellent. The lodge is very well equiped. Its in a beautiful setting and not too far away from places to explore. The owners aren’t far away which gives you reassurance if any emergency should arise. We had an amazing break at the lodge and would recommend to anybody.
Delighted to have you return to us and very pleased to hear that you all had such a fantastic time.
We look forward to welcoming you back once again in the near future. Thank you very much for taking the time to submit your wonderful review, it is very much appreciated.

This was our third visit to the lodges and that in itself tell the story of how much we enjoy our time there. The lodge is in a beautiful location and very well furnished and equipped. A lovely welcome package on arrival is supplied by the owners, who are there on site if any problems/questions arise. I cannot recommend Glengoulandie Lodges highly enough, for location, scenery, cleanliness and comfortable home from home.
Hello Eileen and family,

Just gets better!
Our 3rd stay in this wonderful lodge provided by the super helpful and thoughtful Russell and sandy.
The area has so much to offer and slightly longer trips out are both easy and rewarding. The best part of any day trip was once again returning to the cleanest and well appointed lodge you could hope for. Views over the lock to the deer park with a lovely variety of birds provide endless entertainment.
Everything about this lodge , it’s owners and the area keep us coming back for more.
Thanks for everything !
Thank you to the Davis family…..
We are so pleased to welcome you back and to see the boys growing up, you are just like the birds who come and go from here and we are able to enjoy the changes :-) Each season brings change, for example new bird life to the Lochan and in Winter you meet migrating birds that are not here in the Summer.
With each visit, you get to explore new areas that are "on the to do list" so until next time…we are looking forward to your return and thank you once again for your super review. Best wishes Russell and Sandy.
