Newly refurbished end terraced house with stunning sea and mountain views in a quiet area with beautiful garden and a communal pool. Our newly renovated family home is available for rent with 3 bedrooms for up to six people. The accommodation is spread over two floors, plus a shower room in the basement and rooftop terrace. All floors accessible by a beautiful marble staircase. On the open and spacious ground floor there is an entrance hall with fitted wardrobes, a modern fully equipped kitchen and a living room with TV leading to a terrace overlooking the sea and mountains. On the terrace there awnings and a table with 8 chairs, making it perfect for dining and socializing. On the next floor there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two twin beds. All bedrooms have built in wardrobes, French balconies and either sea or mountain views. On this level there is also a shower room with toilet. The roof terrace is accessed from the stairs and from here you have a fantastic view over the Mediterranean, the nearby Almijara mountains and Nerja town. The house has a small private garden with fruit trees, flowers and a large palm tree that provides shade in front of the house. Outside the house there is a nearby private parking. This small private urbanization with more than 30 house is very quiet and peaceful and provides a relaxing holiday. There is a beautiful landscaped garden and a spacious communal pool surrounded by a large lawn area, ideal for both adults and children. There is also a small pool for the smallest children.

The town of Nerja with about 20,000 permanent residents, offers a fantastic range of shops, restaurants, tapas bars and flamenco shows is a beautiful and friendly city with Spanish atmosphere with small white houses and narrow streets. There are several beaches in Nerja everything from long sandy beaches with restaurants to small secluded beaches with sand and rocks, something for all tastes. The city is accessed from the house either by walking or using the local bus which stops near the house (1 euro / person). Near Nerja, there are many attractions such as caves of Maro (one of Spain's major attractions) and small beautiful villages in the mountains as Frigiliana. The nearest golf course is only 20 minutes by car and Sierra Nevada with skiing from December to April, it takes about 1.5 hours by car. The Moorish Palace Alhambra in Granada is 1 hour by car from our house.

About Jan Olsson

We are a family from Sweden, 2 adults and two children. We are still working, but our intention is when we retire to spend 4-5 months each winter in Nerja. Since this is our familyhome in Spain we hope you will treat our house as your familyhome also. Pets are not allowed and neither smoking.

The whole family was immediately in love in Nerja during our first visit since it is such a peaceful and relaxing city at the same time as the city provides a lots of activities and attractions in the surroundings. We started to search for a house in Nerja for almost three years ago and finally year 2014, we found this beautiful house that the whole family loved from the first moment. We that this is a unique house since there are sea and mountainview starting already from the bottomfloor. It is beatiful to sit on the terrace and having breakfast and overlooking the Mediterriansea and the Mountains. Also from floor one with the three bedrooms, there is a beautiful sea and mountainview and from the roof terrace it is a stunning sea and mountainview and also a nice view over the city Nerja.

What makes this house unique

The city Nerja is one of the most charming cities in Andalucia according to our taste. You can find both the peacefulness and the relaxing and also a lot of activities and attractions in the surroundings, Nerja has something for us all! There is a lot of things to do and experience in and around Nerja: Walking, jogging, cycling, mountain hiking, tennis, watersports, diving, horseriding, fishing, golf, skiing in Sierra Nevada and a lot of more things to do. In Nerja you have around 300 restaurants, bars with excellent tapas, market every Tuesday, narrow pedestrian streets, shops etc. You can also take a day trip to Granada to visit the famous castle Alhambra, downhill skiing in Sierra Nevada (from December to April), visit Gibraltar, visit the city Almunecar with its fantastic view over the mountains and the sea, shopping in Malaga, visit Sevilla the capital of Andalusia etc. There are really a lot of different things to do and see in Nerja and in the surroundings. There are few high-rised houses in Nerja which also makes the city extra cosy.

Notes:
Transportation to and from Malaga airport can be arranged at extra charge. Rent a car can easily be done in advance by internet. It is also possible to go by bus from the Airport with change of bus in Malaga to Nerjas bus station and from the bus station you take a taxi 1,5 km to the house. The house is cleaned before every new guest arrive. If it will require more than a normal cleaning of the calculated 6 hours of the house a fee will be withdrawn from the deposit to pay the extra additional cleaningtime. The house is rented out to maximum of 6 persons.

Top class property.

My Wife and I stayed for the whole of October in this beautiful house and we can honestly say it is the best equipped property that we have stayed in and can be improved only with the addition of a DVD player which is under consideration as I type.

The house is as described and is immaculate with the best equipped kitchen we have seen , this was important to us as holidaying out season we ate in quite a lot .

October was very hot this year so the swimming pool which is a 30 second walk was very welcoming.

The property has well equipped outside space's and has

the privacy needed for relaxed dining or sunbathing .

The small complex is very well maintained with a beautiful walkway around all of the gardens and pool area.

There is a frequent bus service that runs from outside the complex into Nerja so even if you don't have a car getting around wont be a problem , there are regular buses from the Nerja bus station to further afield places like Granada - Malaga - Madrid and others.

Would we return to 22 Jardines de Nerja , you bet we will.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We have recently returned from another wonderful stay in our favourite holiday destination. We have stayed in a variety of homes and types of accommodation in and around Nerja for over 20 years and I must say that 22 Jardines de Nerja is without a doubt one of the best. The house itself was everything we could have hoped for, with all facilities exactly as described and to a very high standard – a lot of thought has obviously gone into creating this perfect holiday home.

The complex itself is well thought out and the large communal pool was perfect for a morning dip or even better as a chance to catch the last of the day’s sunshine. The communal areas and gardens are very well maintained and it was lovely to see the variety of trees and plants that are throughout the complex.

Located about 20 mins (walking) outside of the main town and the many beaches, we chose to hire a car again but this is more to do with transfers etc. Parking within the complex was easy with lots of room for all but with the local bus service (€1) stopping almost outside the gates it would not be a necessity if you don’t mind a bit of walking or a taxi at the end of a long day was €8.

The owners Yvonne/Jan were great to deal with and any questions were quickly answered. They really have put a lot of thought into their property and welcome any feedback to improve - I could not think of a single thing and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

Lovely villa

We had a great holiday staying in this villa. It is clean, comfortable and well maintained with plenty of outdoor space for dining and relaxing, with views of the sea and mountains. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and had everything we needed.

We didn't have a car but took advantage of the regular bus service into Nerja which runs hourly until midnight in high season, or walked into the centre (approx 30 mins). The bus also goes to the beach. Jan and Yvonne were extremely helpful prior to our holiday ensuring we had everything we needed - thank you. We would definitely return!

Lovely stay in Nerja

This is a modern extremely well equipped apartment which is clean and well maintained. The owners could not have been more helpful before our stay making sure we had all the information we needed including some excellent restaurant recommendations! idylic setting

wonderful house in a great urbanization , beautifully kept grounds and so peaceful and tranquil. the house was spotless and fitted with new kitchen and shower rooms which are fabulous quality. the views of the mountains and the sea are amaxing , we loved every min of our stay here and hope to visit again. a big thank you to Jan for being so helpful and easy to deal with and to Isabelle who met us as soon as we arrived .

Super verblijf

Een woonhuis helemaal zoals je het wenst in een nog enigzins authentiek dorp. Ruim, voldoende terrassen, van alle gemakken voorzien, zicht op de zee en een lekker zwembad. Wel een eindje lopen naar het strand en het toeristisch centrum, maar goed te doen. Wij hadden een huurauto en dan ben je helemaal mobiel. Voldoende restaurants en gezelligheid te vinden. Geen grote hotelcomplexen en overdadig toerisme. Een echte aanrader en voor ons voor herhaling vatbaar.
