Iron and ironing board. Convenient to visit the center of Florence by foot, really close to everything !! The front door of the house is the entrance of the Bardini Garden !!
The accommodation can sleep up to 6 people.
I advise to take a taxi from the airport or the train station.
The historic center of Florence is a limited traffic zone (ZTL) with special rules to enter or park in this area. The apartment is Located within the ZTL zones. If you arrive by car, I recommend reserving the private garage at € 25 each 24h. This price includes the service of withdrawal and delivery of cars at the apartment.
We definitely loved the apartment. Stefania was extremely helpful and quick with responses before our arrival. The apartment was very spacious and furnished quite nicely. It had everything we needed. It was in a great location. I would recommend a taxi if you are coming in by train. It had the Italian charm we were looking for. I agree with previous reviews on the noise. Perfect for a couple. I wouldn't return w kids or more than just a couple sharing one bed. (I think this is temporary and was due to construction and traffic was directed down this street) I also agree with the previous review on the shower. It needs a lot of love and the previous guests or the provided used toiletries in the shower didn't help the situation. We would return if the shower was given a lot of attention.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. Communication with the owner was always timely and helpful. We were promptly met upon arrival and given some nice recommendations for local restaurants etc. The apartment had everything we needed and was located within easy walking distance to many great restaurants and sights, but away from the crowds. I'm agreement with the previous reviewer that stated it is very noisy for anyone sleeping in the living room. It's on a very busy street and the windows didn't block the noise. My brother had to use earplugs. However, for a couple traveling alone the bedroom was very quiet and dark. That would be the only deterrent though. Overall a nice place in a fantastic location.
The owner advertises the apartment as a two bedroom. It is a one bedroom. It has an uncomfortable sofa bed in the living room. The living room is on a busy street. It feels as if you are sleeping on the street. The advertisement is false. I would not recommend staying here.
We picked this apartment for our family of 4 based on its great location and space for the four of us to sleep. The location didn't disappoint in terms of being central to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was also spacious enough and functions well (other than the A/C, which could definitely be stronger, but in fairness it was about 100 degrees during our visit).
Our two complaints were the noise and the cleanliness. Unfortunately, while the one back bedroom is quiet enough, the front room where the children slept was like trying to sleep on the side of a freeway because the street below is a thoroughfare through all hours of the night. Noise is part of the tradeoff for being in the city center, and we get that, but I think this apartment is really only suitable for sleeping two people. That front room should not be used for sleeping because effectively, it can't be.
The other issue was the black mold in the shower. While the apartment is generally neat and tidy as shown in the pictures, we found the shower to be unsanitary due to mold and previous guests' half-used toiletries still being in there. Basically, the shower was gross.
Overall, we wouldn't return to this apartment, although we think it would be fine for a couple without children who want to be close to all of the action and can sleep in the back bedroom.
This apartment is lovely, photos and description are accurate, and it made a very cozy place from which to explore beautiful Firenze! Our hosts were very kind and responsive, and make the apartment feel welcoming and comfy. Just a couple of blocks from the historic Ponte Vecchio bridge and easy walk into the city, no car needed! Many charming cafes and shops nearby. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!
My daughter and I spent a wonderful time staying in your absolutely delightful apartment during her spring break from school. The apartment was every bit as charming as it appeared in the photos. The location was perfect, being just a short walk over the bridge to get to the heart of the city. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well furnished. In addition to being close to all the restaurants, we also enjoyed being able to prepare several delicious meals, and found the kitchen to be well-equipped for doing so. And at the end of each day, after walking many miles, it was wonderful to sink into the cozy, comfortable bed in the quiet and dark bedroom and enjoy a good night's rest. We were sad to leave and hope to be able to return some day to this beautiful city. Thank you for your hospitality! We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and everyone!
