With its large rooms, its stylish furniture, this villa offers a unique setting for a pleasant holiday. The south facing terrace with direct access to the kitchen and the living room will welcome you for bathing, meals or relaxing the afternoon.

Ideally situated to start your excursions on foot or by bike (the city center is 1 km and the beach of St Julien 300m) you will enjoy the wildness of the peninsula. This large neo-Breton style house offers quick access to the Quiberon Wild Coast and shops in the city center. It is built on a large 1200m2 garden with lawn. It can accommodate up to 7/8 people. Four cars can be parked on paved locations.

The house is for rent to rent for a minimum of one week. We do not take reservations for the weekend.

This villa combines in itself all the elements for an unforgettable holiday with family or friends:

- Private swimming pool with crystal clear water 7. 5m x 4m heated.

- Video devices (Samsung TV with integrated internet access, Blue ray, Wii).

Terrible holiday and not good for children

We arrived on Saturday to find a massive building site in the garden next door. The owner of our house, Alain, said that it would not be a problem. How gullible were we??!. The noise and disruption were so bad that we had to abandon the house and find somewhere else to live for the second week. This proved extremely stressful for the family and I had to almost plead for Alain to refund our second week and return our deposit (he only initially offered to refund 50% of our second weeks rent!!!) . It is unbelievable that Alain would rent his house when there was so much disruption next door. I have the videos and pictures to prove my case which I showed to Alain. The pool is clean. However there is only a very short ladder to get you in and out of the pool. This is, in my opinion, dangerous for very young children as the pool does not have a shallow end and it is not easy to get out in an emergency. There is no safety fencing around the pool ( see Alain's photos) and his pool safety instructions are only in French! There are no pool alarms either. Please do not leave your young children alone by the pool side and make sure they cannot access the pool at night times. The house is also not suitable for young inquisitive children. The reason is that the washing machine is kept in Alain's garage which you access from inside the house through a store room into the garage. With both the store room and garage absolutely stuffed with sharp tools (big and small) lawn mowers and ,worse of all, lots and lots of cleaning materials such as bleach and toilet cleaners as well as nails, screws, insect repellants Try and imagine how a handy man would never throw anything away for many years but keep everything in his house and you will get the picture of Alain's store rooms. A very dangerous place for young children! The house is actually lived in by Alain who just moves out to let visitors stay. The house could do with a really deep clean and on the last night of our disastrous stay I actually saw a mouse scurry across the kitchen floor in the small entrance hall by the side entrance where I locked the little critter out. There is a lot more I could say about the uncomfortable beds, old tiny blood spots on the bedding, hot water running out if you have a bath, loose handles on doors and the very busy main road in to Quiberon that runs next to the house. Quiberon is a nice place to visit and it was a real shame that the house turned out to be a disaster. Not Recommended!

Owner's Response: Une charge excessivement exhaustive pour le chantier d’une maison voisine de 50m à vol d’oiseau, démarré à la mi-mai et hors d’eau au 20 juillet. Ayant entrainé certes, quelques nuisances sonores dues au montage des murs, de la charpente, et de la toiture. Rien d’extraordinaire ni d’anormal au regard d’une construction classique, n’ayant entrainé aucune plainte des autres voisins, dont je ne suis nullement responsable car n’étant pas le maître d’œuvre. Cornelius avait réellement besoin de vacances. Fatigué peut être, de devoir gérer sa famille au quotidien, lassé de voir s’abattre sur lui les exigences et les turpitudes entrainées à son insu par la maladie de ses proches. Lorsqu’il a évoqué son désir de partir avant le terme de son contrat, nous avons trouvé une transaction qui s’est soldée par un remboursement intégral de la caution (sans pénalité pour le bris de deux lampes de chevet) et le remboursement total de la semaine non utilisée. Le virement a été effectué le jour même de la réception de ses coordonnées bancaires, soit trois jours après qu’il ait quitté les lieux. J’avais tenté de le faire le samedi de son départ, mais malheureusement, Cornelius après avoir perdu son portefeuille et ses papiers m’avait transmis un mauvais code IBAN. Je suis désolé de ne pas avoir répondu aux attentes de sa famille. Pour ce qu’il en est des autres points négatifs évoqués dans le propos, la piscine est équipée d’un dispositif de sécurité agréé « afnor » et je mets à disposition trois gilets de sécurité pour enfants. Les produits d’entretien sont fournis avec la location et le local de stockage peut être fermé à clef si besoin. en 2016, un portail d'entrée a été installé pour clôturer entièrement le terrain.

Très bonne prestation, la maison est grande, bien équipée, bien située. Le plaisir de la piscine cumulé aux ballades à vélo sur le littoral. À recommencer.

un souvenir mémorable, excellent séjour !!!

La maison typiquement bretonne nous a ravie. Proche de la plage, des commerces mais suffisament isolée pour profiter tranquillement du jardin et de la grande piscine.

Les chambres sont spatieuses, salles de bain et cuisine très pratiques. Nous reviendrons très certainement l'année prochaine !!!

Bon plan pour familles sans enfants en bas ages

La maison est grande, propre et bien équipée à part les sanitaires à l'étage qui ont grand besoin de modernisation. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle et bien équipée, pareil pour la piscine et nous avons bcp apprécié les VTT pour visiter les alentours. Les chemins de randonnée vers la côte sauvage sont nombreux et accessibles depuis la maison, de meme que les plages et le quartier de Saint Julien est bien adapté pour des vacances familiales. Nos seuls bémols sont liés au placement de la maison qui est sur l'axe routier principal de la presqu'ile avec bcp de bruit de circulation et l'absence de portail rend la propriété inadequate pour les enfants en bas ages.

Le propriétaire est sympa et disponible, la presqu'ile de Quiberon est magnifique.
