Wonderful location, neat and clean

We traveled with a large family and stayed at the apartments. Plenty of space for everyone and nice living room to sit around. Lola B. was very helpful with the reservations and suggestions on places to eat. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay. Thank you for making our trip to Madrid a memorable one.

Fantastic Location

We were a group of 10 ladies so booked out all of the apartments. We had a fabulous time, the apartments were great, clean, spacious, plenty of room for all of us to sit and breakfast together, drinks before we went out and to generally chill out. Had problem with the shower in one of the main bathrooms and the owner could not have been more helpful managing to get a plumber on a Saturday and keeping me informed the whole time.

We truly loved the apartments and location and would definitely return. Really recommend.

Rent this house in its entirety for the most comfort

A group of 6 ladies stayed in the 'Cosmos' portion of the apartment. we stayed 8 nights.


Great location

early check-in, this was really really helpful to us!

Only two sets of keys for 6 adults ( resulted in trying to figure out who would be where all the time)

Wi-fi was spotty and did not work the last few days

Sky- two people cannot take a hot shower one right after the other

Showers were very small, if you are tall, this may not be the place for you

The doors need to be greased, they are very loud.

The list of cons seems long, but honestly the stay was fine. There is nothing super special about the property, and I think it is probably a more comfortable situation if you are able to rent the space as a whole. The building is old and has charm, and as previously stated the location is really great.

Owner's Response: Some cons had easy solution. Why you never says nothing about to get a third keys or the wifi? We have more key sets and regarding Internet there is a modem in the corridor, only you have to disconnect and connect again to get Wi-Fi. It's very usual in the center of Madrid. The door has loud sound? Sorry, but I reviewed after read your comment and I don't know which are. Regarding the size of the showers, really have a regular size and any guest before said nothing. I think you has reason and LA CASA DE LUNA whole (with their 2 apartments: Cosmos and Moon) is better than one of them. But then, why you never request it?

Very well maintained apartment. Good size bedrooms. We were 4 couples and each had its own en suite bathroom. Very private. A perfect gathering place in the morning and evening.

Spacious apartment near Gran Via

We had a good time with Luna house. Lola is very nice and quick response to all my questions. We were in Madrid and when the Barcelona attack happened. My next stop was Barcelona, Lola was willing to extend my stay just in case the Atocha/Sants train station close for security purposes. The apartment is nice, rooms are quite large. My kids stayed in Star and Sky room, they liked it very much as the rooms are down the hall way in a private section. The door key is a trick to use from beginning, later we learned how to use it. The fun part was on our arrival we met the cleaning girl; we both don't speak each other languages and used our hand language as much as we could to communicate . We tried to tell her the toilet in Moon guest room didn't flush well. Not sure if she understands, so we didn't use it to avoid the bad thing happen. First impression to the apartment was not that good; we saw graffiti on the walls along the street and kind of worried about safety. Next day we were OK, even walking home very late of the day, the street is very quiet and safe. There are police stations on both sides of the street, so we felt safe staying on this street. The apartment is very closed to famous Gran Via Street, around with many restaurants, and very close to El Corte Ingles department store where we bought everything for our stay (razor clam, and shrimp are very cheap in this market ). We also bought Jamon and cheese, first time we tried it and very interesting taste, you should try it when you are in Spain. We followed the house rule instruction and left the apartment in a condition as expected, the deposit refunded back to my account in full. Thanks Lola for all the help and provided us a pleasant stay. We had good time in Madrid and hope we will come back in the future. Thank you!

Great accommodation
