Great host, comfortable apartment

A more personable host you will not find. He even met us at the train station in his own car. Now that is hard to beat. The apartment is spacious comfortable and very clean. The location is very quiet and near one of Puerto's beaches. An added bonus is that the beach gives you access to a walking trail which you can follow, with one or two short detours on city streets to the beach that you could take all the way to Rota. There is a super market a short walk away - turn right as you exit the compound where the apartment iocated and walk along to a big park. Then cut diagonally across the park until you come back to a main road. The walk downtown is a bit farther, but not difficult in the moderate temperatures we had in October. There is not a lot of activity in this part of Puerto, but Cadiz is a short ferry ride away and the 'new' part of Puerto looks as if it would be busier in the summer. We took a city bus over to that part of the city and it did seem to have potential for night life. But if you are interested in a quiet apartment in a quiet part of the city, then this apartment is for you. As I mentioned. Luis is a gracious host and most accommodating.

One dayt, I did notice surveyors and men in business suits busy in the woods outside the apartment window, so you might want to check if some sort of development is planned for that empty land as that might make for a noisier stay. That would be a shame since the apartment is very quiet with a pleasant view of the parkland beside it.

El Puerto, tenéis razón que en Octubre, tiene menos actividad turística pero en primavera y verano, el centro es un sitio magnífico para pasear y tomar tapas, algunas veces quizás demasiada gente. Nos alegra enormemente que tengáis esa opinión del apartamento y sobre todo de mí, creo que no me lo merezco. Ha sido un placer conoceros. Luis.

Nice comfortable appartment in the nice place.

The owner is very contact and can give all need information. Before the beginning of the vacation, we got detailed information how to get to the appartment.

The appartment is located near to the beach and park. It is a very appropriate option for a little company or for a family with two children.

Gute Lage

Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Anlage. Man ist in 5 min. zu Fuß am Strand. Dort gibt es ein schönes Strandrestaurant. Die hübsche Altstadt mit vielen Geschäften, Cafés und Bars ist auch nicht weit entfernt, auch nicht der Hafen. Von dort kann man mit der Fähre nach Cadiz fahren.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte zu viert in der Wohnung. Für die kurze Zeit ging das, ansonsten ist sie für 4 Personen zu klein. Das Schlafsofa ist sehr unbequem. Sie war sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Owner's Response: Es indiscutible que el apartamento es pequeño, tal y como se puede apreciar en la descripción y fotografías de nuestro anuncio. Son 40 metros cuadrados en total pero muy bien aprovechados, muy bien situado, cerca de la playa y tranquilo. El costo que solicitamos por su uso, está en consonancia con su tamaño, unos 12€ por persona y la verdad que tiene una gran acogida, estando prácticamente totalmente ocupado desde Mayo a Octubre. Muchas gracia por su comentario.

Somos una familia, hemos estado una semana y nos lo hemos pasado genial es un sitio muy acogedor, cercano de la playa, tranquilo y bien situado para hacer compras y cerca del centro.Los propietarios muy majos y muy atentos. Lo recomiendo
