230-sq.m villa on a unique location in one of the city’s most exclusive quarters

The 230 m² two-floor villa features a unique location in one of the city’s most exclusive quarters. The house is situated on 540 m² wide grounds, 225 metres above sea level. It features a panoramic view of the city and the Atlantic Ocean. Make use of the secluded garden boasting tropical plants, a private heated pool, a patio, sun loungers and barbecue facilities. Formerly, the villa was owned by the well-known multimillionaire and frequent traveller Simon Spies.

The villa is not far from the Botanical Gardens, a 25-minute-walk from the port and Plaza Charco and only 5 minutes away from the next shopping centre.

An attractive way to spend your holidays! The villa features plenty of room and lovely facilities. Additionally, you won’t have to share your loungers with any other tourists. You can thoroughly enjoy yourself while there is still plenty of room for the whole family or a group of friends under the same roof.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the second floor. The first floor features a small one-bedroom-apartment including a kitchenette, a bathroom and a dining table.

In 2005 the house was refurbished and fitted with marble floors and 2 bathrooms on the second floor.

The house, second floor: Big parlour with a dining table and chairs, a stereo with a CD player, a satellite flatscreen TV, exit to the roofed patio. A fully equipped, modern kitchen with a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine, a refrigerator and a freezer. Two double bedrooms, one single bedroom, and two bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer.

The house, first floor: a big, comfortable double room with a private bathroom featuring a bath and a hairdryer. A kitchenette, satellite TV, and a spacious balcony.

Other facilities include a separate washing room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer, a baby cot, a highchair and iron facilities. One of the bedrooms on the second floor also features a small desk and free Wi-Fi.

Generally, the house was built in 1964 and refurbished in 1988, 1998 and 2005/06. Electricity, water, and cleaning service once a week are included. Towels and bedlinen are also included. The final cleaning is available at a surcharge of GBP 76. Up to eight adults (+ one child) can be acommodated comfortably.

The view is unbelievable, the garden is very secluded and cosy, ideally set for a peaceful stay. You won’t need to worry about bed linen or towels either since they are included, just like the cleaning service once a week.

Excellent base for a relaxing week

We loved Villa Janni. The location is excellent with plenty of local shops and restaurants in La Paz or 20 minutes walk down into town. The villa was well supplied with everything we might need. The fixtures and fittings were a little shabby but we could overlook that as all worked fine. The heated pool and the sea view all around the terrace were just gorgeous. There was a problem with ants but sprays helped. We had great space for our group of 5 adults and we would book Casa Janni again. Thank you to all !

Skøn villa med opvarmet pool

Dejlig stor villa, roligt beliggende, med egen opvarmet pool og privat have. Flot udsigt over byen og havet. Standarden er høj på huset og der er plads til to familier hvor den ene f.eks. kan bo i egen lejlighed på 1. sal.

Der er kun 5 min gang til supermarked og 8 min gang til den Botaniske have. Vi var der for 3 gang og kommer helt sikkert igen

Perfekt belligende villa til familieferie. Dejlig privat have og opvarmet pool.Standarden på huset er høj og der er god plads til 2 familier, den ene familie kan feks. bo i egen lejlighed på 1.sal. Hyggelig lille have og skøn udsigt over byen og havet. Stor stue med spise mulighed. Kun 5 min. gang til supermarked

Herrlich ruhige Villa

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne erholsame Woche im Casa Jani mit unserer gesamten Familie mit insgesamt 3 Kindern. Perfekt für Familien oder mit Freunden. Grillen und chillen im Garten, oder in netten (es gibt auch nicht so touristisch geprägte Restaurants) und typisch spanischen Restaurants essen. Ausstattung im Haus ist perfekt, alles da was man braucht. Eine Villa die sehr privat ist und einen schönen Blick auf den Teide und auf die Stadt ermöglicht.

The mansion is situated within an old banana plantation boasting a view of Puerto De la Cruz: The large seawater pools of Costa Matianez can be found in the city.

Loro Park is an animal park, still influenced by its original shape as a small parrot zoo where people used to enjoy watching parrots pushing excercise wheels. Since then the park has gone a long way to a lovely and well appointed amusement park and the parrots are just one of many attractions these days. On the contrary, today the park includes almost 1000 palm trees, cactuses and exotic animals such as gorillas, anteaters and white tigers and enjoys a better reputation regarding the animals’ wellbeing than most other European zoos. Almost every year new species are added to the park’s variety. Altogether, you can see 2000 animals of 300 different species.

One of the most impressive features of the park probably is the penguin land. Once you step into the beautiful hall, you witness a small piece of Antarctia behind the glass panels, inhabited by hundreds of penguins. Flown in snow is snowing from the rooftop, just like back home at the South Pole. You do not even have to walk around to see the penguins, instead you are carried on a moving walkway creating the impression of being amongst the penguins. Finishing your visit, you will come across a section housing the special psittacines.

The big, beautiful fish tank includes a transparent tunnel where you can watch massive sharks float by right above your heard. The zoo serves as a perfect day activity for the whole family. It might be clever to plan ahead of your visit since it is unlikely you will manage to see the whole park during just one visit.

The Botanic Gardens are situated within walking distance of the house.

Mount Teide is a must see on Tenerife as a walk to the exciting volcanic crater is a priceless experience.

La laguna:

An impressive tranquillity lies above the small alleys and old houses in Tenerife’s second biggest city. Here, colonial times are within one´s grasp to such an extent that the city centre has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site. Schedule a visit here after a tour to the Anaga Mountains, which you can explore briefly in one morning or by taking a circular track you can follow for days.

La Orotava:

The Plaza de la Constitución from where you can enjoy a view of the valley and the red rooftops marks the centre of La Orotava. Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción is the city’s most beautiful church. Due to the striking twin towers and the oriental dome, the elegant baroque church is easy to spot. It is a national monument and considered one of the best pieces of baroque art on the islands. The church includes an altar made of marble and alabaster by the artist Gagini and a beautiful statue of St. John made by Luján Pérez. The neoclassical town hall Palacio Municipal from 1891 is located opposite the church. Continue your walk to the right, alongside the Calle de San Francisco square to the end of the street where you will see Orotava’s most beautiful palaces.

The area is referred to as “Casas de los Balcones,” the houses with the impressive balconies, named after twelve impressive buildings.
