We, a party of 10, have just experienced a wonderful 2 week holiday at Villa Vilelmina, up until the 13th Oct.
As with the previous review, we too arrived to a welcoming meal prepared by Leonidas' wife, who also visited us during our stay.
This villa had everything we needed, including infinity pool with sun beds, and the wonderful view towards Corfu harbour and the Albanian coast.
This is an ideal location on Corfu, for exploring the North of the island; secluded beaches, and inland mountain region.Hiring a car is probably essential, and Leonidas was most helpful with assisting with our every need, including airport transfer.
If we return to Corfu, and we most likely will, then Villa Vilelmina will be our first choice.
Having taken a last minute booking we didn't know what to expect from Villa Villemina. We were not disappointed. Clean, comfortable and very well equipped and cleaned a couple of times whilst we were there. We arrived to find an evening meal of delicious chicken stew waiting for us along with salad, bread and wine. What a lovely start to our holiday.
We planned to spend most of the time at the Villa as our daughter was on crutches after an operation. We had a fantastic view of the bay and the good size pool was ideal for those of us wishing to stay there all day! Deliciously clear and clean water, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.
The local supermarket was a short walk down the hill and had everything you could wish for. Plus the locals are so friendly and welcoming.
We love this part of Corfu and will definitely return. We would happily recommend the villa to friends and family.
We spent most evenings in Agios Stefanos, a short drive away, where the Tavernas are all excellent. Hired a boat for the day and cruised up and down the coast. Would recommend the Greek night at Taverna Nicholas in Agni. It's on a Thursday and would recommend booking before you leave for holiday. It is legendary. Absolutely fabulous!
Best Baclava to be found at Taverna Eucalyptus in Stefanos - we tried lots and this is by far the best!
Thank you Leonidas for a lovely week
