Great for city breaks, cycling, mountaneering, and visiting the island, key location, only 15 minutes from Palma city Center.

Stunning traditional and unique 300 year old finca, totally private and fully renovated, full of character. An oasis at only 15 minutes from Palma's center and all it has to offer with all the shopping, restaurant and night life possibilities of the city. Also very easy access to the motorway and the rest of the island. 20 minutes to the beach of Pto Soller. 20 minutes to the wonderful villages of Valldemossa and Deia.

Fantastic for visiting different beaches, golf (Three different golf courses within 15 minutes drive), cycling (you are directly on the old road of Bunyola and the most pitturesque routes), paddle and tennis (wonderful and new center in less than 3 minutes) and hiking in the mountains. It is also at 15 minutes from the parking under the Cathedral in Palma with all the incredible offer of all kind of activities in the city center.

The 19 hectares the Chateau owns allow total privacy and quiet, out of the Rush of the summer in Majorca but at a stone throw to anywhere in the island as it is so well located.

About Amara

Hi, I was born in Mallorca in 1965. I am an artist and I also trained as a qualified hypnotherapist in London where I lived for a year. This Finca (Manor House) has come down to me through 5 family generations. I have lived for 22 years in the Main House which is now also for rent as I moved to the city for personal reasons. I can assure this is a little paradise on earth or so I believed every single day. I put all my knowledge and sensitivity as an artist when refurbishing and decorating the houses to the very last detail is like a work of art.

Why Amara chose Palma de Majorca area

The Finca has belonged to my family for the last five generations. I have been living here for the past 20 years and just love it and enjoy it every single day. It is my love for this place what has kept me fighting in order to be able to keep it and refurbish it little by little and it is a sort of 'life mission' for me. It is therefore very personal that my clients share and enjoy the very special ambience that exists here and it helps me to improove and work on it every year.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

The finca has been in my family 5 generations is like an oasis of calm in the busy Mallorca summer time. It owns a very large plot of land so there are no neighbours, and on the other hand it takes so little as 20 minutes to be under the Cathedral of Palma, with all its old buildings, countless restaurants and vibrant night life. Nowadays it would not be possible to buy such a property unless it was for a building development, so it is a very rare thing to enjoy this finca preserved with all its favour. It is at some 10 minutes drive to the motorway which takes you directly to any other destination of the island. whilst being in the privacy of your cottage you are completely in a timeless place, ignorant of the intense activity which is going on in the island, so you can have it all.

Stayed at this villa on 13th August 2016 for two weeks 14 of us three families amazing villa plenty of space for everyone kids loved the pool in there some nights till late while we had bbq nice and peaceful place Amara the owner was very welcoming and helpful. Car is essential as villa not in walking distance of towns but great location for Palma 15 min drive, soller 20/25 min drive, canpistillia 15 min drive and lots more places. Over all great villa great holiday will go back again. Thank you Amara.

Incredibly well communicated and easy access. Only 10 minutes away from Palma and on the other direction only 20 minutes to Pto Soller with it´s incredible ambiance and beach and 20 minutes to Valldemossa and all the nordern Mountain chain ideal for small cove-beaches, cycling and hicking.
