The kitchen and dining area lead directly onto a 6m x 6m patio which is wonderfully calm and bursting with typical Mallorcan flowers such as bourganvillea.

The house is just a few minutes walk from Pollensa’s charming main square with its thriving cafes and bustling candlelit restaurants.

It has three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms and sleeps six people comfortably.

The first floor has a large double room (180cm bed) and a further double bedroom. The two bedrooms share a large bathroom which has a bath and rain fall shower above the bath.

The top floor has a large bedroom with air con, a king-sized four poster bed and large ensuite bathroom with two basins and a walk-in shower. There is also an open plan area with a desk and a covered terrace with incredible views and a little table and chairs. There is brand new air con on the top floor.

The style is Mediterranean character (exposed sandstone and wrought iron banisters, rain fall showers, Bosch five-ring stove. Nespresso machine and a newWeber BBQ). The views from every window are incredible – stretching out across Pollensa’s terracotta rooftops, churches and the Tramuntana mountain range.

The patio on the ground floor is white-washed and bursting with flowers, a table (where you will probably eat all of your meals), a BBQ and a large four poster day bed and hammock chair for relaxing!

The house has Wifi, dishwasher and a microwave.

There is air con on the top floor. The other bedrooms have fans.

Please do let us know if you require additional items such as a high chair or a cot.

In terms of location, it is four minutes walk from the mian square in a fairly quiet road with a useful local grocery shop 40m away.

You can park along the road. Either outside the house or within a minute or two's walk.

My ex huband and I really wanted to buy somewhere in Pollensa, we fell in love with the village as soon as we saw it! We bought the house in 2007 and then embarked on a four year renovation. It was quite stressful but the end result makes it totally worth it.

The house has lots of wow factors such as the view of the monastery from the first floor bedroom and bathroom, olive branches over some of the doorways and the beautiful sandstone patio walls.

This is a house that makes you appreciate the simple pleasures in life!

What makes this house unique

1) There is a very handy shop less than 30 metres away.

2) From the roof terrace you can see every church in town, the Calvario steps and a tiny bit of the sea!

3) Very light, clean,fresh and airy.

Great location, stunning top floor views

We really enjoyed our stay with our family in this lovely town house situated in a quiet but very handy location in Pollensa. Close to the vibrant centre, yet peaceful. Tastefully renovated with a charming secluded courtyard and stunning views towards the Piug de Maria from the first floor bedroom and top floor terrace. Staying in town gives a great flavour of Mallorcan life. The children loved being able to walk into the square to get ice creams - and we loved our morning coffees! Parking never seemed to be a problem. The owners were super helpful. Highly recommended.

The house is in the heart of Pollensa, a stunning Roman village in the North of Mallorca. Amble into town for breakfast or dinner and drive just 10 minutes to reach some of the best beaches on the island. It's the ideal location for a family holiday.

For sports lovers, you are spoilt for choice. There are numerous running, trail running and cycling, outward bound and hiking groups you can join. I include details of good places to hire bikes etc in my welcome pack.

There are tennis courts, a beautiful open air pool and every type of water sport to choose from. I love hiring a Lazer dinghy and taking to the water for an hour or going water skiing with friends.

If you are looking to immerse yourself in local Mallorcan life, you can wonder around Pollensa, go up the 365 Calvario steps, or enjoy a relaxing coffee in the main square.

There are so many charming bars and restaurants to choose from. Our guests love going to the Calvario square with all the pretty candles. Or heading to the main square where children play with new friends while you enjoy a glass of wine and a delicious supper. Our welcome pack also includes choices which are slightly off the beaten track!

Every Sunday morning, Pollensa has a market. It is bursting with fruit, vegetables, delicious local cheeses and salami. The ideal place to stock up for a Mediterranean lunch.

Pollensa has many fiestas, many which date back hundreds of years. Easter and 2 August are the big ones! These are a lot of fun for the whole family.

Many guests are happy simply relaxing in our pretty patio, or going to the beach, or Pollensa's main square. Others like to check out the fun water parks, catch the Pirates show in Magaluf (we loved it!) or visit Palma for the day. It's a magnificent city.
