Smart little apartment for 2 with own plunge pool set in beautiful countryside

A recent conversion of part of an old stable block has created a nice little apartment for 2 people in the grounds of a larger villa. With a comfortable double bedroom, cool sitting area with open plan kitchen and walk-in shower room, the casita is perfect for 2 people. In addition the property boasts its own private plunge pool and plenty of outside space for enjoying the sunshine and BBQs. You can also swim in the super swimming pool at the main house, at the owners' discretion. The garden has been recently planted and will be looking prettier in 2016!

This apartment is ideal to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Spanish countryside, or as a base from which to explore the region. The region is perfect for walking holidays with lots of interesting places to hike, and a paradise for bird-watchers with exotic species such as hoopoes, bee-eaters and Golden Orioles frequently seen.

The road connections are fast and quickly accessed from the property, for visiting the beautiful villages, stunning national parks or a day trip to the beach. The glorious cities of Granada, Cordoba and Malaga are all within easy reach. Seville is a little further but worth the extra drive.

The nearby village of Iznajar is also well worth a visit - the ancient village dominates the area clinging impressively to its rocky perch high above the turquoise waters of an enormous reservoir. Here you can hire kayaks and pedaloes by the hour, children can play on the sandy shores, and there is a good little cafe/bar for lunch and drinks.

Perfect Little Hideaway

Part of a stable block recently converted to comfortably accommodate a couple or a single person, perhaps interested in birdwatching, hiking. Two adorable donkeys on the property. The accommodation is set apart from the main house & is completely private, surrounded by lovely countryside. Well equipped large kitchen, pretty shower room, comfortable double bed & outdoor area for sitting & contemplating nature or drinking a glass of wine. Philippa, the owner, is very charming, helpful & a fluent Spanish speaker; she knows the area very well. The main house has a beautiful large pool in the lovely grounds. Totally secluded but nearby village & towns of interest. Car a must. Highly recommended for a restful, relaxing holiday in a secluded spot.

Many of the wonderful historical sites of Andalucia are within easy reach of this property including the Alhambra in Granada, all the great museums and churches of Malaga, the famous mezquita in Cordoba and not forgetting the beautiful city of Seville. You won't have time to be bored!
