The open plan lounge and dining area is light and spacious. The entertainment area is equipped with TV with many cable channels in several different languages, DVD and CD player. There is also a selection of books available. The dining room table seats 6 people and there is also a breakfast bar with two chair, facing towards the kitchen. The comfortable lounge area has patio doors opening onto a large private terraced area with two sunbeds, table and chairs for 6 people, perfect for al fresco dining !
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with: hob, fridge-freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle and blender.
There is a separate cloak room and utility area on the ground floor off the entrance hall .
The master bedroom has a king size bed and large wardrobe area. There is an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. The view from the large patio doors overlooks the small lagoon and there is a private balcony with a table and two chairs to enjoy a morning cup of tea or coffee.
The en-suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower, toilet, bidet, sink, towel rail and lots of storage space.
The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe space, air-conditioning and a view overlooking the shared pool.
The third bedroom also has twin beds, wardrobe space, air-conditioning and a view overlooking the shared pool.
The family bathroom has a walk-in shower, a toilet, sink and towel rail.
This townhouse is fully licensed and also provided are fire extinguishers, a fire blanket and a well furnished first aid kit. There is also a management company which can be contacted at any time during your stay.
From the second we arrived, very late on the Friday night, we were made to feel very very welcome by Sam. The townhouse itself is truly stunning, with everything and more you need to make your holiday perfect. A true home from home, with a truly luxurious feel. With views of both the beautiful pool and a lagoon. There were 5 of us staying and it shallowed us up. With only a short walk to wonderful restaurants and bars along the Marina, and about a 15 walk into Lagos town centre, with a huge selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
We were made to feel like the house was our home for the week, rather than a rental. Sam was incredible, helping us when needed and making sure our holiday was the best it could be, without her and the beautiful townhouse, our holiday wouldn't have been as special as it was. As for the furniture inside the townhouse, we couldn't fault it. It was extremely comfortable and well looked after. The townhouse is modern and beautifully presented. We spent evenings on the balcony, seated around the beautiful patio furniture, looking out over the Lagoon.
We have no hesitations in recommending this property to anyone looking for a hassle free holiday rental. The townhouse is one of seven located on a small gated development predominately made up of one and two bedroomed apartments. The complex is very secure and safe and is well maintained. We saw staff regularly cleaning the communal areas. The two pools are a good size.
The location is fabulous. Five mins walk to a good value supermarket, great restaurants and bars.
There's a small play park called Yupii just two minutes walk with a bar and lovely friendly staff.
Townhouse is spacious, very clean and very comfy. Beds especially so.
Sam the property manager was very friendly and helpful.
Nearest beach at Meia Praia is beautiful. Great beach bars and two sunbeds and shade only cost €10.
The furnishings, although in good condition, feel somewhat secondhand and dated.
Although the townhouse is well stocked it feels like the home of the owner's cast-offs. Could do with an update and edit.
Although there are over sixty apartments in the complex, there are only forty or so sunbeds and a dozen or so umbrellas. Needless to say, you have to be at the pool for 7.30m to secure space.
Mosquitoes, lots. Remember your repellant!
Would highly recommend this property. We had a fabulous holiday. With a few tweaks to the interior it would be absolutely perfect.
This beautiful, fully equipped townhouse is situated on the marina in Lagos within easy walking distance of the town of Lagos, Meia Praia beach and both the train and bus stations.
The Marina is lively during the day with a choice of lovely cafes, bars & restaurants where you can either just have a quick coffee & cake or choose to eat any meal from breakfast to dinner. There are plenty of options and something for everyone.
From here, you can enjoy outdoor activities like sailing, boat trips to explore the coast, visit the unique caves in cruising boats or even kayaking and experience the sea life eg: dolphins at sea.
Later on in the afternoon and evenings, the bars and restaurants become a most enjoyable place to enjoy an evening meal and you can finish the night in a friendly bar with lots of local options to choose from.
Or you can cross the footbridge and in a 5 minute pleasant walk enjoy the busy town of Lagos, with its small cobbled streets, local fruit market, fish market, the churches, monuments and local museums, interesting shops, bars and restaurants where both adults and children can make holiday memories that can last a lifetime. Lagos has lots to offer; whether you want a town steeped in history and culture, or a town teeming with restaurants, shops and night-life, then Lagos has something for you.
The clean, wide, long beach of Meia Praia is just a 10 minute saunter away from the townhouse and because of it's size, you can always find somewhere to put your beach towels. There are many great beach bars to choose from, whether just for a drink or ice cream to cool off, or to have some food and get out of the sun for a while.
For those wanting to play golf, there are several championship golf courses nearby including Boavista Golf Club and Spa, Espiche and Palmares Onyra Golf Club. It is possible to hire a quality set of clubs at Faro airport from ClubstoHire.com. For the more adventurous there are many water sports widely available including water skiing, surfing and wake boarding or you could go trekking, horse riding or micro-light flying.
