Married with we have 2 grown up sons Ben & Sam whom we are very proud of. We all very much enjoy our holidays in Cyprus and have gathered many friends both English & Cypriot over the many years we have been travelling there.
Barry, Sam & I all work for our local authority in the UK, whilst Ben enjoys his football and studies in the USA.
We have been renting the apartment for about 10 years now and as it is our second home too, we regularly update furnishings and maintain it as often as possible for your comfort.

The family had to secretly choose a place where they would like to buy a holiday home and all four of us chose Cyprus! Having only been to Protaros before, we visited Paphos & very quickly fell in love with the location. The locals are very friendly. 'Not amongst it all' but at the same time 'not too far away' from the tourist area. We bought off-plan and have no regrets with our pride & joy. We now have many wonderful friends in this beautiful Country.
Swimming pool on your doorstep with your own sunbeds (no need to put your towels out at 3am!). Some days you could be the only couple/family in the pool.
If you want your own space and still lie in the sun then you can wheel your sunbed round the corner into our back garden until the sun goes down.
Quiet location but only 10 minutes from lovely restaurants (especially Karlinas) and locals bars on the Tomb of The Kings Road.
We have had the most relaxing holiday at this location. It only took 45 minutes from landing at Paphos airport to arrive at our accommodation! Sue, the owner, kindly arranged our taxi transfer and the taxi driver was very helpful pointing out landmarks and providing us with information.
The apartment was very clean. The kitchen has every utensil possible. It was great having the washing machine which meant I could keep on top of the dirty laundry so I didn't have so much to bring home. Also having the pool towels provided was an added bonus.
As well as having the table and chairs at the front of the property overlooking the pool, there is a private patio area at the rear of the apartment with a larger table and chairs, which was nice for dining. We had a BBQ a couple of times, although the BBQ was a bit lopsided!
It was brilliant having our own sunbeds and the pool was only a few paces from the front door. Quite often we had the pool to ourselves and even at the busiest times there was no more than a dozen people using it! This made for some very lazy days as we didn't see the point of heading off to the beach when we had a pool practically to ourselves and it was nice being able to just pop indoors for cool drinks, etc.
We did intend hiring a car for some of the time we were there but the local buses were very efficient and cheap. We also used the local taxis a few times to get down to the harbour because it only cost a couple of euros more than catching the bus for four people. We found the buses heading into the harbour were quite full by the time they reached our stop but no problem on the return journey.
This apartment is in a great location. Our first impression was that we were a little bit out of the way but we soon found a few short cuts to places. The old town is only a 15/20 minute walk (uphill). It took about 35/40 minutes to walk to the harbour. There are plenty of bars/restaurants within a 10 minute walk. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Tomb of the Kings. Buses run every 15 minutes to the harbour and Coral Bay.
I would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and relatives. It's great for a relaxing holiday but it's also in an ideal position for exploring all of the local area.
Tomb of The Kings historical ruins is 5 mins walk, Paphos Old Town with local produce 10 mins walk, A must-see is Paphos Harbour with beautiful quaint cafes & restaurants 10 mins on the local bus (air con coaches). Kings Avenue Shopping Mall is within easy walking distance.
