Chiswick Place is a stylish apartment ideal for couples or friends looking to make the most out of a holiday in Eastbourne. Based moments from the theatres, cafes, restaurants and beachfront, the location is difficult to beat.

Set in a beautiful period property, this apartment has high quality furnishings and fabulous features that will appeal to the discerning - high ceilings, detailed cornicing, huge floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning wooden floors throughout (no stilettos please!).

The master bedroom has a super-kingsize bed and a sofa in the large bay window, along with lovely boudoir-style white wooden furniture. Complemented by its own TV, it provides the ultimate escape for a cosy couple.

The second bedroom is still large enough to fit a kingsize bed, and is equally stylishly attired - ideal for a second couple or perhaps two older children to share (minimum age is 8 and upwards).

The lounge-diner offers ample comfy seating, with a huge sofa and two armchairs, and has a lovely feature fireplace and lots of natural light from its full-length windows. There's a large TV and DVD player, and the dining table to the rear of the room has formal seating for up to six.

The spacious and light kitchen is great for sociable, informal dining, with a breakfast table and windows overlooking gardens. It is well equipped, with solid wood worktops, a dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The lovely black and white tile floor continues into the bathroom, which has a bath and shower over, also bathed in natural light through a large skylight.

Free WiFi is available, plus parking permits for just £1 per day, and linen and towels are provided. Smoke-free and pet-free.

Both Carl & Sarah have travelled extensively, lived abroad and enjoyed (and occasionally endured) a wide spectrum of holiday and business accommodation and this experience has shaped their understanding of what makes a great holiday home.

Their ethos is simple – to listen to and understand what guests require and provide only the best holiday homes.

If there is something that would help to make your stay extra special, just ask. Maybe you’re organising the holiday as a birthday treat and you need help organising a cake or decorations? Perhaps it is a romantic getaway and you want champagne chilling and flowers on arrival?

Having never stayed in Eastbourne we didn't know what to expect, but we were very happy with our choice, including this lovely apartment.

Central (close to restaurants) and just off the beach. Owner has a real eye for detail with the furnishings as well.

Not the cheapest place to stay, but worth the extra we thought.

Eastbourne has a lot to offer - whether you fancy taking in a West End show or concert at Eastbourne's fabulous bandstand, enjoying a stroll on the pier, roller skating along the promenade or even having a go at some water sports.

The charming town centre has a surprising number of excellent restaurants and a good selection of shops to while away a few hours – including the boutiques of Little Chelsea and the Enterprise Centre. There is also the excellent contemporary Owner art gallery, plus four theatres.

Nightlife is also active, with university campus students and international language schools adding to the cosmopolitan, dynamic vibe. There are a range of bars, pubs and nightclubs - plus Brighton is an easy train ride away.

It's also a family friendly resort – to keep the kids entertained, the Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, Treasure Island and Fort Fun offer plenty of entertainment, including rides, crazy golf and go-karting, and there are bags of further attractions to visit within the surrounding region.
