4 beautiful bedrooms with bathroom ensuite and private relaxing swimmingpool

Villa Reggello is one of the three Villas of Casali Cellini. It is located amidst the gently rolling Tuscan hills, between Pienza and Montepulciano, complitely surrounded by organic plantations. The rooms have been decorated with colours that recall the typical plants of the area, from red Rosehip to bright orange Strawberry tree, as well as the unmistakeable shade of Lavender and pinky-orange pomegranate.Careful restoration, using original period materials, has maintained the style of the farm and ensured an ancient atmosphere.Stylish and spacious bathrooms, equipped with bathtub, shower and all amenities to complete intimate privacy during your stay. A separate day toilet serves the livingroom area.A spacious livingroom is situated on the ground floor. At one extremity is a gracious kitchen with blue toned walls, and on the opposite end a cozy reading area by the fireplace. The manger doubles as a small library with books in various languages.Directly outside the living room you access the patio area, shaded by a magnificent wisteria. You can admire the breathtaking views of the swimming pool and the gentle Tuscan hills in the background. A unique spot for “al fresco” dining, by the traditional wood burning oven. A few metres from the beautiful outside pergola, under which you can enjoy a pleasant lunch and dinner, you will find a lovely organic kitchen garden where you can pick the fresh vegetables yourselves. The large private garden with a panoramic swimming pool looking out over Montepulciano is equipped with a barbecue where you and your friends can cook.Under the portico a characteristic wood oven is available to make pizzas and home-made bread.

A great family location

  • 5 of 5

Villa Regello is a perfect place for a family holiday, located between the villages / towns of Montefollonico, Pienza and Montepulciano. The grounds are secluded affording great views across the hills. The pool is a safe enough distance from the house that small children can be watch / run after if needs be.

The house itself is well appointed and has everything you might need for a stay; we self catered all week and found the kitchen has everything one might need. The outdoor dining area under the wisteria is a delight and the Swallows nesting in the beams add to the country feel.

Bathrooms are all newly refurbished and the whole place has old world charm with modern comforts (don't expect to download a movie at super fast broadband speeds however).

We were a party of seven, across three generations, from Grandma to toddler and would thoroughly recommend staying here. We have been coming to the Val D'Orcia for many years and Villa Regello is a place to return to.

Top location and house!

  • 5 of 5

We spent one week in this wonderful house in the heart of Tuscany and wished we could have stayed longer! The view is spectacular and relaxing, you look out over the rolling Tuscan hills, it's quiet and surrounded by nature. The house is in an traditional style, comfortable and well equipped. The pool is nice and very clean. You can make day trips to all the lovely places in the neighbourhood (Pienza, Montepulciano,...). The friendly owners help out with anything you could require (they even moved all our belongings from this villa to their other villa -very nice as well- where we stayed one more week) We hope to be back soon! We can totally recommend this pleasant country house, where you immediately feel at home 'as a local' (far away from the touristic crowds)! A big hugggg and thank you to Mariachristina and her husband)

Perfect Tuscan Holiday!

  • 5 of 5

Villa Reggello far exceeded every expectation! From my initial email exchange with Mariacristina to the final checkout at the villa itself, every detail was handled quickly and with the highest levels of professionalism. Throughout the entire rental process, Mariacristiona and her family became more than just landlords: they became lifelong friends! There are so many positive issues that a comprehensive list is impossible to assemble, so here are a few comments and suggestions for potential travellers:

The villa itself actually looks much better in person than in the online photos. The views are stunning, it is surrounded by fragrant flowers and herbs and the interior is perfectly renovated to accommodate either a large family or group of travellers.

Mariacristina is an indispensible asset for extra activities in the area. She was able to suggest, and in most cases reserve, perfect venues for all of the travelers in my group. From restaurants with magical views of the Tuscan sunset to an unprecedented birthday celebration for my wife at a Montepulciano restaurant, her suggestions were perfect in every way.

We utilized The Tuscan Chef, coordinated through Mariachristina, for an “in home” meal and a separate cooking class. Both of these events were great fun and incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

For those interested in wine, Mariacristina suggested a driving service for a single day, four winery “Tasting Tour” with lunch. It was a great combination of Brunelli and Nobile wineries, with special tours that included cellars, special tastings and even a stroll through a vineyard. Highly recommended!

Since my group included four couples, one bedroom was easily reconfigured from two twin beds to a single “king size” bed. Yoga mats were even provided!

Mariacristina’s natural products are incredible!

Regrets: We were so busy that I did not have an opportunity hunt for truffles or cook pizza in the outside brick oven. Hint: The Tuscan Chef will provide a great Napoli crust recipe and Mariacristina will coordinate the heating of the oven with a fire. Next time…..

Yes, we will return!

Charming Villa

  • 5 of 5

The home is well maintained with lovely grounds. A quiet location with stunning views of the Tuscan hills. Our group fit nicely in the beautifully decorated bedrooms and appreciated the private baths it offered. Close to wonderful historic towns and good restaurants. We had a great time!

Nirvana in Tuscany

  • 5 of 5

This villa is carefully and beautifully maintained by the owner and is the perfect combination of elegance and comfort. The pool is amazing; a slate oasis that is cleaned each day--absolutely pristine. Mariacristina, the owner and host, is very responsive and was kind and flexible with our last minute changes to our plans. The suggested chefs were excellent and the outdoor dining was so enjoyable after long days touring around Tuscany. The grounds are stunning and the views from the photos do not accurately portray the beauty surrounding the villa from every direction. I can't say enough about how perfect this was for our families.

My only note of caution is to be aware that screens are not on the windows. But the breeze felt fantastic!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Our week at the villa was the highlight of our stay in Italy. It is a beautiful property that exceeded our expectations in every way. You can tell the owner spent a good amount of time perfecting every detail. Every room feels plucked from a magazine.

The house feels very private, it is tucked away on a small road in the countryside and sits on a hill surrounded by expansive views of rolling farmland. We spent a good amount of time at the large pool just taking in the scenery.

The villa is ideally located at a very short drive from both Montepulciano and Montefollonico where there are several excellent restaurants, wine and cheese shops. As well as near charming towns such as Pienza and Monticchiello. We spent a week exploring the area around the villa and felt like we had only seen a fraction of what was there.

The host, Mariacristina, was very helpful both before and during our stay, giving great recommendations and helping us set up plans in the area. Through her we booked a private cooking class at the villa, which was a lot of fun and resulted in one of our favorite meals on our trip.

We can’t wait to go back!

Villa Reggello is located amidst the gently rolling Tuscan hills, between the wonderful towns of Pienza and Montepulciano, just a short distance from the thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni.

Here, far from the bustle of the city and the roar of the traffic, immersed in a landscape like a painting, where the air has a special scent, time seems to slow down, days become longer

and sunsets delight the heart.

Just 10 minutes away is Montepulciano, a delightful town, famous not only for its countless works of art, but also for its vineyards that colour the landscape with the changing seasons and producing a world famous wine - Nobile di Montepulciano.

In the heart of the Val d’Orcia, also just 10 minutes away, is Pienza, a real gem and the dream made reality of Pope Pius II, the emblem of a Renaissance concept of the “Ideal City” and a UNESCO world heritage site, full of atmosphere, scents, real people and ancient vestiges.

Don’t miss a visit to the enchanting square of Bagno Vignoni,

a truly unforgettable place with its ancient 52°C spring water bath, completely surrounded by Medieval and Renaissance buildings.
