The house is a recently renovated 3 storey townhouse, combining traditional features such as stone walls and beams with all the modern conveniences that you need for a relaxing holiday, and it's all topped with a private, sunny and secluded 25m roof terrace - a real rarity in the heart of Pezenas. The beautiful medieval old town with its many delights is only a 2 minute stroll from the house.
The first floor sitting room and kitchen is stylishly furnished, and enjoys light and air from double French windows opening on to Juliet balconies. The second floor has 2 double bedrooms with luxury bedding & towels provided.
For relaxing, sun bathing, and eating from breakfast through to dinner, there is a 25m square roof terrace, furnished with outdoor sofa & arm chairs, dining table & parasol and loungers. You don't have to leave the balcony if you don't want to - an outside kitchen area has a sink and food prep area, and there is a full size fridge to keep your drinks cool.
From a quiet semi-pedestrian street you enter the ground floor of this 18th century Pezenas holiday home. On the ground floor is a garage (not in use for parking), with a utility area with washing machine, ironing board and sink. There is also a recently refitted shower room with wc - ideal for freshening up after a day at the beach!Next, up a stone lined staircase to a bright and well furnished first floor sitting room and kitchen. Two large French windows open on to railed juliet balconies that let in plenty of light and air.There are two sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. There is a TV and a DVD player, broadband WiFi is available throughout the house.The kitchen area is well stocked with lots of white crockery and glassware as well as plenty of useful plates & bowls for serving. For food preparation there is a sink, fridge, halogen hob, full size oven and a combi microwave. There is also a separate wc on this floor.On the second floor are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king size bed (160 x 200), the other a standard double (140 x 200). Each has new pillows, sheets and covers. The bathroom has a shower & wc and a heated towel rail.
Up again at the top of the house is the 25m roof terrace with views of the church tower and the tiled rooftops of Pezenas. Whilst you have great views, you can relax in privacy as the terrace is not overlooked. The terrace is furnished with a comfy sofa, chairs, a large round table with 4 chairs and umbrella and 2 loungers.Olive, bay and lavenders bask in the all day sunshine, and at night time the terrace is lit with wall lights or fairy lights. For eating and drinking al fresco there is a set of crockery, small barbecue, a sink, food prep area and a fridge.
The roof terrace has everything you need to relax at any time of the day. For eating theres a small table for breakfast as well as a full size table with padded dining chairs and a parasol. For relaxing choose between the sofa, armchairs or loungers. Sun worshippers will be pleased to learn the balcony gets sun all day, but there is always a shaded area available too. The balcony is not overlooked, but still enjoys views across the historic rooftops of Pezenas to the church clock & spire.
