Absolutely loved our stay in Fuengerola the apartment was really well equipped and was stocked with a few assentials which is an added bonus.
The only thing that let it down for us was it only had a double bed, was a little small for us 2 and it was also a little noisy, paper thin walls and the windows don't really block out any noise (needed the ear plugs) thankfully our little girl can sleep through anything.
We felt at home almost immediately in the property. Carlos met us with the keys and is a very friendly helpful man and Beatez was brilliant at communicating in English on the phone. It has every thing it says on the site and a lot more, for example seasoning for foods domestic cleaning products toiletries etc. The property is so clean and cheerful and very peaceful for resting and sleep.
Lots of mini and super markets very near. Tap water ok to drink so it saved alot of energy not having to carry big bottles.
We located some beautiful restaurants locally. Italian next street "La Pergola" I had vegetarian. On Calle de la Cruz," Don Pe" we had rack of lamb..DELICIOUS. Many restaurants with fresh fish on display cant remember the names. Old English bar round the corner serving food and the pint is very good value also Finnegan s Irish bar very friendly and well managed. On our last night we found " Alley cats" about 30 minutes walk at Los Baliches run by Scottish lady Janet and Irish man Billy. Its a good pub for all kinds of sport music and chat.
Bio park worth a visit and if you like retail therapy for both sexes you will be spoiled for choice.
The owners were very kind to allow us stay a little longer on our last day due to late flight.
Big word of advice when you fly into Malaga airport get the train from there to Fuengirola for under €3 euro. A taxi costs€40 to the apartment. Bus and train stations are only 15 minutes walking distance.
L'appartement est en lui même très propre, literie de qualité, bien aménagé, tout le nécessaire est là, et il est bien situé. Nous avons été bien reçu par Béatrice.
Le gros point noir est l'absence de parking car le garage mis à disposition est exclusivement pour les propriétaires de la rue ! Sous peine d'amende, car une caméra filme tous les passages de 9h à 21h...Il faut donc arriver après 21h et ressortir avant 9h pour ne payer d'amende.
Donc, on doit laisser la voiture dans les rues disponibles relativement éloignées... et quand on a la chance de trouver une place !
Les chambres côté rue sont un peu bruyantes mais j'ai le sommeil léger et cela n'a pas gêné mes amis.
Sans ce soucis de parking, cette location est parfaite.
