The property was completely renovated in 2012 and finished to a very high standard.
It has been awarded 5 stars by the Welsh Tourist Board.
4 large en suite bedrooms.
One on the ground floor is a super king which can be made in to a twin. This room has an en suite with walk - in shower.
Up one staircase is another super king size bedroom with an en suite with bath and shower over.
Up another staircase are the other 2 bedrooms. One is a king size double which can be a twin - the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The other bedroom is a super king size double which can be made in to a twin - the en suite bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The sitting room has 3 large sofas and wood-burning stove.
The kitchen has a double sink, 5 ring induction stove, double oven, eye-level grill, microwave, full size fridge and table that seats 4.
The dining room has a wood burning stove and table that seats up to 12.
The utility room has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, full height fridge freezer, microwave, 4 ring induction stove and oven.
The securely fenced garden has a shed which is useful for storing bicycles and south-facing patio. A bbq, croquet, table tennis, badminton and quoits are provided.
New for Autumn 2016 - we now have a hot tub in the back garden so you can sit, relax and enjoy the fabulous views whatever the weather. It is a Freeflow Spa Monterey Hot Tub with 22 hydrotherapy jets, 7 port foot jet for deep relaxation, multi-colour LED lighting and a Waterfall water feature. It will be up and running by the end of November 2016 so book your ‘holiday with a hot tub’ now.
The house also has 2 fenced paddocks which can be used for exercising dogs.
There are walks from the door up to the Brecon Beacons.
Although the house is in a secluded location it is not isolated. It is less than a mile from the A470 and 4 miles from Brecon.
BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
The contract for the letting is between the hirer and owner of the property named Baddegai Cottage. Any issues, discrepancies or mistakes arising under the contract and booking confirmation should be addressed immediately to Annabel Thomas at Ty Mawr, Brechfa, Carmarthen, SA32 7RA or via the website www.breconbeaconscottagebreaks.co.uk. The rental contract will not be confirmed until the payment is received in accordance with item 3 below.
2. PERIODS OF HIRE
Weekly rental periods commence at 15.30 on the arrival date and end at 10.00 on the departure date. The hirer’s attention is drawn to the inflexible need for prompt departure as this is essential for cleaning and maintenance between hire periods.
A deposit of 20% of the rental fee is payable immediately the booking is made if this is more than eight weeks before the start date of the rental period. The balance is payable eight weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rental on or before the due date will constitute cancellation of the contract by the hirer. For bookings made less than eight weeks before the rental commencement date, the total rental is payable to establish the contract. All payments to be made to Baddegai, preferably electronically. For bookings made less than three weeks before the rental commencement date, the total rental must be paid by cleared funds directly to the bank account notified in the booking confirmation.
4. CHANGE OF RENTAL DATES
We will consider a request from the hirer to change the booking dates after the hire contract is established. A new contract will be established provided that (a) the property is available for desired rental period, and (b) the hirer immediately pays any additional sum due under clause 3 above if the desired rental period is at a higher rate plus an administrative fee of £25 per booking.
