Even Better than expected!!

This villa is a dream! The pictures really don't do it justice.

The pool is lovely and warm in July and perfect for small children and grown ups alike.

The villa is well equiped with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay and the host Gerard is so helpful and amenable.

I could not recommend this property enough. We had a brilliant stay.

Fabulous relaxation

A really beautiful property – we felt like film stars! Well equipped with loads of space, including big bedrooms and a small, beautifully maintained garden, with sun and shade options throughout the day and lots of comfy recliners. A really peaceful development, with a good on-site supermarket and simple restaurant offering fantastic grilled meat. The glass-sided swimming pool was much nicer than we imagined - we swam most mornings and had the pool to ourselves. The closest beach is still under development - but lots of options along the coast. Friendly contact from the property owner, Gerard. All in all, a big thumbs-up!

Prefect villa for a week (or more) enjoyable stay

I can confirm the property title that Gerard put on the website is 100% true – “luxury villa with pool and garden, close to sea, beaches, harbour, golf”!

The villa is in a very quiet gated urbanisation that consists of about 50 villas (well isolated from each other), community pool (Recommended! Decent size, warm enough in February, not overcrowded since you need a key that each villa has. I bit shallow but nobody cared ;), Grill Restaurant (Recommended! Excellent Spanish and international food and prices), and a Spar shop (big enough for all necessities, cash machine, etc.)

The villa itself is as you see on the pictures. Our party, two families with three kids, particularly enjoyed the garden during the day and alfresco breakfasts and barbecue dinners thanks to the glorious weather – 20+ degrees for the whole week in February. The plunge pool was cold but the community pool, two minute away, was excellent.

All three beaches we visited (Mogan, Amadores, Puerto Rico) we fantastic. They’re all within 10-15 mins drive. You can walk to Amadores (about 30-40 mins) if you feel like it – ask Rachy (the caretaker of the villa) for directions. Halfway through the same walkway by the golf course leads to a couple of restaurants (Tauro Grill and Guantanamo) which were recommended to us but we ran out of time to try them.

The owner Gerard will give you lots of useful information regarding shop, doctors, restaurants, taxi, etc.

We also enjoyed trips to Puerto de Mogan (the port and harbour are very beautiful) and Las Palmas (the capital city on the other side of the island) particularly the old town area around the Cathedral of Santa Ana.

In summary – we spent one memorable week in the February sun in Gerard’s villa with nothing to complain about.

Fantastic, beautiful villa in a quiet location

The Villa was outstanding - immaculate and beautifully presented. The garden was extremely pretty and the pool, although small, was ideal for cooling off. The pictures are an accurate representation of the Villa.

The Spar and Tauro Grill restaurant were very close by with friendly, helpful staff.

The beach in Amadores was about a half hour walk (5 minute taxi) - the nearest beach was currently under re-development and will be fantastic when finished.

Would recommend hiring a car for the stay - taxis can become expensive after a while!

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this Villa.

Amazing Villa & Area

Where do I start, On arrival this villa is an absolute haven, the urbanisation it is on is quiet, peaceful and so relaxing, this is the perfect getaway for anybody of any age. We were a party of 6 including two children who were not bored once! The villa is equipped to a luxurious standard with everything you need for a perfect home from home.There is a pool but it is more of a plunge pool than a swimming pool however is great to dip in and out of if sunbathing in the garden as the sun is on it all day long, if you want to swim there is a pool on the site with glass sides and sunbeds with parasols which we used from time to time, even this area of the complex was quiet some days we had the pool to ourselves most of the day....... Superb!! There is also a local Spar shop there and a restaurant which are both brilliantly priced even compared to the main supermarkets locally. Gerard the owner has a lovely place, it is nestled alongside a championship golf course which you walk along to the wonderful beach, although there was a little work going on there where they are making a pedestrian walkway to the main beach of Amordores, we had a little further to walk than normal. The villa is 35-40 mins from the airport, we used a company called Zip Transfers which we booked from home and they had a private driver waiting at the airport to greet us and take us directly to the villa and also collect us for the return flight home. We did hire a car for part of our stay and visited a Cowboy themed park, a Zoo, Karting track and a Water park, all were excellent. If your children are over 10 years old you will generally pay adult price admission for them and you will be asked for proof, we paid €25 per person admission, Car hire though is not essential, the taxi service is superb and a taxi to the next town of Puerto Rico is only €3 and from there you can get a water taxi on a glass bottomed ferry which will take you to Mogan, Aguineguin, Maspolomas on a day ticket.

The markets are amazing running around the Island on different days, we visited the one in Mogan, which is one of the largest on the island, it runs there on a Friday and the port and harbour are breathtaking and definitely worth a visit, very picturesque!! We have had an amazing 2 week holiday in the height of summer, pure tranquility & relaxation. I would recommend this villa and area to anyone, we are missing it so much already !!
