The house was built in 2001 according to the local architectural style of the Cyclades and Kea. It brings together both traditional and contemporary lines. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living/dining area and kitchen. It is located in a beautiful area with amazing sea views. The outdoor dining area is the best spot of the House.
The property is 125 m2, where both living and private areas are located on the ground floor. The living zone is an open unit containing the sitting room with fireplace, the dining spaces and the fully equipped modern kitchen. The dining table can seat up to 6 persons. The living room may also be converted into a sleeping area, with two single beds. From the entrance hall there is an access to the wc.
A narrow corridor leads to the private zone, which consists of two double bedrooms (with two single beds), one single bedroom and one bathroom (with shower). Most of the rooms face the east with amazing sea views. Big east windows promote the direct connection of the living room with the external environment.
All rooms have access to several yards, but especially the living room is connected to an amazing outdoor seating area. The central veranda on the east side has a cement couch with comfortable pillows, a big wooden table and a BBC installation. The building is surrounded by a garden full of trees (mostly olive trees), rocks, vegetables and flowers. It is an ideal place for privacy and relaxation.
Built by using local stone in its natural state. The materials that were chosen for the house are natural stone and brick for the walls, aluminum window frames, stone floors and wooden pergolas. Most of the surfaces are painted white in order to promote bright full internal conditions creating a friendly, serene environment, which will be able to accommodate the user's activities.
Kea, this amazing Greek island, is located in the Cyclades archipelago in the Aegean Sea. An island with natural beauties and a long history demonstrated by the remaining archeological ruins.
Its capital, Ioulis, is inland at a high altitude (like most ancient Cycladic settlements, for fear of pirates). It is characterized by its scenery, quiet alleys and the traditional houses with red tiled roofs. Other major villages of Kea are the port of Korissia and the fishing village of Vourkari. Kea is considered one of the most attractive destinations for unforgettable holidays.
Kea is a small Cycladic island that has been known in the modern world when the brother of the Titanic, the Britannica, sank off its coast in 1916. The island itself is a lovely little corner of paradise, and is still an authentic place to visit. The island is mountainous, is divided into two green valleys planted with olive trees, vineyards, fruit trees and cypresses. The highest mountain, Profitis Elias, rises to 568 meters. There are a few tavernas and cafes, and the pace of life is slow and comfortable. Kea is a great alternative for those who want to get away from the crowded islands. The islanders live mainly from agriculture, livestock and fisheries. Kea was once called "the island of the water," Ydroussa, and it is believed that the name is related to the nymphs who lived here according to Greek mythology. The island was so beautiful that the jealous gods sent a lion to ravage the land and persecute the nymphs. Nymphs fled, and the island went dry. Keos, then asked for help the son of Apollo, Aristeus, who built a temple in honor of Zeus (the highest deity), who sent the rain. This pleased him tribute, and nymphs and waters were back, and gave Kea fertile soil and good harvests. If you are looking for an island with few tourists in the summer, then Kea is for you. When you disembark at the port of Korissia , you realize how it is far from the charged atmosphere of Mykonos , Ios and Santorini. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday, away from the crowds, there is no doubt, Kea will seduce you. Very close to the continent, it attracts mainly Greeks and especially the Athenians, more or less famous, who built elegant villas and large stone mills. The main port of the island (Korissia) extends along the sea is considered one of the safest natural harbors in the Mediterranean. In 1930, a beautiful kouros (Greek archaic statue of a naked young man) size was discovered at the base of the hill of Aghia Triada. Today it is exposed in the Archaeological Museum of Athens. The island of Kea (Tzia), just a breath from Athens, is the northeast island of the Cyclades. It harmoniously combines natural beauty and traditional features, creating a peaceful holiday destination ideal for relaxing escapes. It is only one hour away from Lavrio, two hours away from the Athens International Airport and 60Km from Athens.
Spathi Villa is only 16km away from the port, 10 km away from Ioulida the capital of Kea and 2,5km from Spathi beach.

We will do everything to make your holidays unforgettable!!
Located in a privileged position, well away from noisy surroundings, surrounded with thyme covered hills, you will be enchanted by the calmness and wild beauty of the environment.

This is a unique villa in an astounding location. The view is absolutely amazing and the villa itself is very comfortable and has everything you need.
We sat for hours watching the light move on the amazing landscape of the Aegean and the surrounding islands.
To get here you have to take the 5 km dirt road to Spathi, but once you are here, ask about the shorter route that takes you to the asphalt road to Sykamia. This can save you a considerable amount of time to get in and out, depending on where you want to go on the island.
The reason I took 1 star off is because there was just 1 fan(most houses in Kea don't have AC). We happened to stay when there was no wind and very hot(a rare phenomenon in the Cyclades). Other than that, it was perfect.
