Fully equipped kitchen, with fridge, freezer, microwave oven, conventional oven and hob and washing machine. Well appointed and Air Conditioned lounge and inside dinning area with cable TV and WiFi. Outside are a well kept Garden area and 2 patio areas for alfresco dinning, sun bathing and BBQ. This property is fully enclosed and gated with access to a communal swimming pool and garden area. About David Martin

We are Pat and David Martin and live in Hampshire, we acquired the villa in December 2014and always enjoy our time there. The Villa is furnished to a high standard and its 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms comfortably accommodates 4, we have added a large sofa bed in the Lounge which will easily sleep another 2 adults but is ideal for kids. Nerja is a bustling town with many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Nerja is a busy town all year round but has managed to keep a real Spanish character and yet is still close enough to the hustle and bustle that surrounds the Malaga area.

Peaceful hideaway with fabulous views

Beautifully situated in the hills above Nerja, this pretty villa has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday among the white villages of Andalucía. The view from the terrace is amazing with the town in the distance and the sea beyond. The air conditioning and fans in the bedroom are very welcome in the hot weather plus a communal pool within a few minutes walk. There is a choice of 2 supermarkets not far away stocking a wide range of food including great fresh fish and fruit - the 6 euro taxi ride back up to the villa after a big shop is money well spent! There is so much to do around the area with great walking and good transport with the pretty town of Frigliana and the incredible Nerja Caves well worth a visit.

Excellent villa!

We stayed at villa casa Martin for one week. It was great; had everything we needed plus more. Extremely well equipped villa, very clean too. Such a great location, a good supermarket a few minutes away. Very spacious living area inside with very efficient air conditioning, which was very much needed in the height of the summer! 5 minute drive from the beautiful beaches; Carabeillo was our favourite.

Fantastic communal pool which was never too busy, a great size. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning for sure! Fast communication from David, the owner, answering any queries we had, too.

Great property, exactly as described.

Fantastic views of the sea, great sunsets and sunrises, Property has all the facilities you need with well equipped kitchen, fantastic outside area and garden, good, well sized bathrooms. Lighting in lounge area could be better.

Easy access to supermarket...5mins...and only 15 mins to the beach or the town. Lots of fantastic walks from the villa to Frigiliana, or to the caves and the Fuente de Esparta.

Would definitely make a return visit.

2bed villa in a clean and quiet settings

A very clean a well presented 2 bed family villa, we also used the sofa bed which was very comfortable, would easily look after 6 adults.The views are amazing. The communal pool is great for kids and very clean. It's a 20 min walk or five min drive to the town centre and beach. Loved Nerja and it's beaches also only a 40 min drive to the nearest water park. Would highly recommend this villa to both family's and couples..

La casa es tal y como se describe. Para acceder hay que subir 40 escalones y para mi gusto necesitaría mosquiteras y algún ventilador. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

To access you have to climb 40 steps to my taste and need mosquito nets and a fan. Otherwise everything perfect. We're pleased the villa is described correctly regarding the access, this summer has been exceptionally hot hence the comment regarding fans, we are reviewing ceiling fans or perhaps even Air conditioning for next summer and will decide this year. Nets or screens over the windows is a good suggestion and we'll give those some thought as well. However if we decide to install Air Con these won't be neccassary

Excellent vista, quiet and a good location

A villa with enough for 3 couples (2 beds and a convertible in the lounge), with a great view over the town and sea. It is self-contained and within easy reach of two supermarkets. As with all the villas in and around the villages close to Malaga, you need a car, but with a car you can take a day trip to Malaga or the Alhambra at Granada with ease. The local town Nerja has much to offer, including their famous caves, but you must try the lunchtime 'all-you-can-eat' paella on the far end of Burriana beach east of the town. The only downside other than the steps up to the property, is the walk to the communal pool, as there is a short but steep road. A wonderful setting.
